What I like about your channel is that you're not being a downer on almost any modes of transportation and you call a spade a spade. That's refreshing in this social media world of "influencers" who are just trying to make themselves look better and the hell with the rest of us.
Always good to see a transportation option that doesn't seek to occupy every square inch with more and more seats crammed closer together. Maybe The Jet will expand to some other cities soon - looks better than flying and definitely driving, and if it runs where trains don't, it'll be a winner!
WOW !! That is the smartest, fanciest, bus set up I have ever seen. Love the wooden floors. Seats look awesome. That must have been the best bus ride ever 😃👍👏👏 Very impressive 🤗
I do hope you were treated well during you travels through the U.S..There seems to be too many people here who are not as respectful of others as they should be.
Those seats bouncing up and down look so trippy :) And those shock absorbers got quite a large travel distance, no wonder it was a comfortable ride. Thank you for sharing this experience with us, pretty cool!
Looks like a great offering Kuga, though I think there is room for improvement, if The Jet people are reading this. I would opt for airbag suspension, and do away with the rollercoaster and costly to install and PITA to maintain individual suspended seating. This, combined with smaller wheels and larger tires (creates more cushion in the auto world .. I am a car / auto nerd ..), and would be a very plush ride. The wood floor is kinda weird, I get the ease of cleaning aspect, it looks Ikea to me. I would have gone with a luxury carpet for sound insulation benefits and befitting of premium coach travel.
Glad you enjoyed your ride to New York. That's where I'm from 😁 The seats move like that so that you Don't Feel any Bumps or hole in the roads. American Trucks drivers have the Same Type of Seating while driving Our Harsh Roads. It's important for them to have proper Seating for long hauls. Thamks
I really enjoyed your video, thank you for sharing all the details. I am a land lover so I would enjoy this bus ride. And it is refreshing that you were always positive. 👍👍Two thumbs up😂
04:43 I love that Kuga wears a short-sleaved jacket from my home town of Boulder, Colorado. He has worn this same jacket on many of his train videos too. 🙂
I've been watching all these new US-Canada videos and thinking... do you ever change your clothes? Or do you travel with a huge bag packed with identical shirts?! 🤔
I'm not fond of Bus Trips . I really like love railway travels. But this Bus trip was luxurious and Quiet and I just had to Watch. I liked how Kuga shows the Amenities aboard the Bus.
Great ride Kuga sun and congratulations on your first red wine. I will give you 1 tip red wine and White T-shirts don't go well together. Safe travels from Downunder 🦘🦘🦘🦘🦘
@@mirzaahmed6589Actually, there is. Similar buses operate between Seattle and Portland. There are probably others like it for short hops of four hours or less.
You get what you pay for. The same route on Greyhound costs much less, but it’s more like Steerage Class compared to The Jet. The $150 fare is well worth it for what you get.
Those seats are air ride seats that have air bags underneath them. They are used in 18 wheelers and can be much fancier that that including back massage. That and air ride suspension makes for a very plush ride.
You can try riding a luxury bus in Indonesia from Jakarta to Yogyakarta with a distance of 152km, travel time of 8 hours with a fare of USD 80. The exterior design of the bus is better, the seats are more luxurious like in a VIP class A-380 airplane. The ticket price already includes lunch or dinner. There is also a sleeper bus that has its own space complete with all entertainment facilities inside.
Too bad they are charging for food now. When I took it about 18 months ago the food and drink were included in the fare. You made great time though. My trip took almost 5 hours. You're really at the mercy of traffic conditions.
Hello thanks for nice video. Just for information. mostly bus and track drivers seats have same system .I didnt seen ever for passenger seats before but really smart and comfy.
I believe you have eaten sufficient muffins to qualify for the Derpy Hooves Fan Club. That is a very nice bus, and if I ever do have to make that trip, I will put it at the top of my list for travel options.

Waw
Couldn’t agree with you more
IAM glad no one is talking or narrator this content
Love that you put price conversions even if you're staying in the same place.
The seats are Air ride, they have air cushions inside. I have them in my big truck. They make the ride so much nicer.
The seats are "air-ride" just like semi trucks are equipped with.
Oh shit I didn’t know semis had those seats. Makes sense how they can drive for so many years
Lovely way to travel
Thanks for this brief ride. I like the bus. Good video 👍
The bus you took is Prevost, one of the top manufacturers of motorhomes based on bus chasis 🙂
Prevost proudly made in Quebec,Canada. 🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
Prevost X3-45
Coming from Noel Philips Greyhound trip, this is something else.
😂
😂😂This comment made me bust out laughing!
Thanks for sharing your trip on the Jet bus. It was very impressive.
I used to ride a lot of buses and some were good💙, but it was nothing compared to the Jet bus🖤 because I really lives up to its name🛩️.
As a Canadian, it's unfortunate that this bus was more stylish/had better amenities than VIA Rail.
First 'glass' of red wine is in a clear plastic short cup while on a bus.
I'd rather travel on that bus than fly. Looked so comfortable
I'm glad that you didn't do the Greyhound bus it's a mess
WOW !! That is the smartest, fanciest, bus set up I have ever seen. Love the wooden floors.

I’ve been hoping the same thing as he travelled through Canada. Let’s hope we all behaved.
Pick me ass people
Welcome gifts should be HOT SANDWICHES!
Yes a Hot pretzel dough with turkey & smoked Gouda
Thank you again Kuga for bringing us along with you, nice video as always.
The seats are air ride, it's the same type of seats used in tractor trailers
こんな高級なバスが走っているんですね!?シートは日本でも大型トラックや大型バスの運転手席に採用されているようなエアサスが座面下にあるやつと似たようなものに見えますが、それが客席全てに搭載されているのには非常に驚きました...!
Thanks looks like a good journey and one that give opportunity too see the country

A very relaxing trip. Thanks for letting us tag along! ❤️
What a cool bus! And not that expensive at all~
Best Bus ever!!!!! I can’t for Jet to expand their brand even more!!!
First bus I’ve ever seen that I would be tempted to ride in.
Thanks for sharing your trip on the Jet bus

Your videos are amazing, I love how you let your adventures and the world be the center of attention :D
He’s one of my favorite travel follows on YT for just that reason.
Hard to believe that you left on time from D.C. That's amazing.
Compared to the Shinkansen, this must be the slow Jet 😂
Glad you enjoyed your ride to New York. That's where I'm from 😁

$200 (Canadian) isn't a bad price for that trip. And the snacks were reasonably priced. I hate the bus, but I'd ride that bus in a heartbeat.
AMERICAN EXPRESS. BUS.......NEW York... CHICAGO.... WASHING TON. DC. Good ❤❤❤❤❤
The hand cloth feels good on the face also.
Great video - thanks for sharing. That's the nicest bus I have ever seen. Those giant windows are fabulous. I'd sure like to give it a ride!
What a stunning walking tour! The footage was great. Thanks for sharing, my friend!
Nice and well made video of bus trip report. I will consider this bus trip when in next months i'll travel to NYC.
Greetings from Chile.
I really enjoyed your video, thank you for sharing all the details. I am a land lover so I would enjoy this bus ride. And it is refreshing that you were always positive. 👍👍Two thumbs up😂
what we see is they more comfort whith ejastable seat its have in truck seat and the design is huge very impressive and good journey
04:43 I love that Kuga wears a short-sleaved jacket from my home town of Boulder, Colorado. He has worn this same jacket on many of his train videos too. 🙂
First time I've seen moving seats, I'd like to give that a try.
You focused quite long and longingly on that blueberry muffin.....
I wonder if that seat technology is better for those of us who get motion sickness. The more choices we have as consumers, the better
4 hours DC to NY is VERY fast. I wonder how fast the driver was going. I always went 10+ more than speed limit and never had anything less than 4h30m.
I've been watching all these new US-Canada videos and thinking... do you ever change your clothes? Or do you travel with a huge bag packed with identical shirts?! 🤔

That certainly beats driving on 95! It also beats flying from Washington National to LaGuardia, and then having to take a taxi into town.
Very nice video. Hope you enjoyed your snack and red wine.
Hi Kuga, only recently started watching your channel, but i think you've got fun videos. Thanks for these, theyre great!
こーゆー椅子が動くのはセレガとかの運転席についてるからみてて面白い
I think both the ticket price and also snack price were not expensive or bad at all and was defenetly moneys worth with what you got
Great trip. Finally you try this bus
Great ride Kuga sun and congratulations on your first red wine. I will give you 1 tip red wine and White T-shirts don't go well together. Safe travels from Downunder 🦘🦘🦘🦘🦘
3:36 The moment I saw Biscoff, I can't help but ask, "Where's your coffee?" (If it's UK then I'll ask "Where's your tea?" instead) 🤣
They should have such buses everywhere
There's no market for it.
@@mirzaahmed6589Actually, there is. Similar buses operate between Seattle and Portland. There are probably others like it for short hops of four hours or less.
WOW, a biscuit
Must admit i think i would have travel sickness with the seats moving up and down, but definitely worth the money
You were in DC only a week after Otakon, the east coast's biggest anime convention!
He's lucky he missed it. 😅🤣😂
I’m surprised by the good standard of the bus considering it’s in the US. Very spacious and clean looking.

I enjoy the usual anecdotes, in this case the Copernican theory!
I would totally ride that bus!
Kuga!!!!!! It's been awhile since I watched a vlog of yours! Awesome!
Times change! My first time in the US I bought a Greyhound pass, unlimited travel anywhere in the States for a month, the price? $99!!!
Thanks!
Thank you!🤝
I wish we had these buses in Canada.
It will take you one hour and 10 minutes by high speed rail. You can see the difference, comfort and safety.
Very Beautiful New York the spectacle🤔😀
This bus is similar to the Korean limousine buses, but the Korean are 6x cheaper for same distance and the best internet speed i ever saw. 😅
シートにアクティブサスペンションが付いてるのかなw
凄く乗り心地がよさそう
No one travel better than Kuga
Os ônibus de luxo do Brasil, são melhores
Too bad they are charging for food now. When I took it about 18 months ago the food and drink were included in the fare. You made great time though. My trip took almost 5 hours. You're really at the mercy of traffic conditions.
Boy! You go everywhere. I live in the Washington, D.C. area.
잘 봤읍니다....아주 고급스러운 버스이네요
Wow what a vehicle
Kuga:great to see you do this. Thanks.
Waw verry nice 🎉
Very interesting!
Wow, thank you!🤝
한글 자막까지 넣어 주셔서 잘보았읍니다
Wow espectacular, muy ben viaje realizado.
Very nice. Thank you.
Looks cool! I'm a little confused by the wood floor though, in bad weather that could easily be slippery! Seems like it needs more traction 😆
Hello thanks for nice video. Just for information. mostly bus and track drivers seats have same system .I didnt seen ever for passenger seats before but really smart and comfy.
I would rather take the train.
One thing for sure, the items on the menu is offered at a very good price
좋아요
The passenger seats that they are using are the same as the drivers seat, that's impressive and expensive to do
Recognized Union Station and the bus stop location. I visit DC often.
Sounds like you had a good trip!
Wow! Fancy! 😮
very funny, good job
I believe you have eaten sufficient muffins to qualify for the Derpy Hooves Fan Club.
That is a very nice bus, and if I ever do have to make that trip, I will put it at the top of my list for travel options.
New subscribers really enjoy your content.
Oh you were visiting my neighborhood hope you enjoyed DC
I just wished Victory Liner and Genesis Joybus from the Philippines will have one of these features.
