I bought a 1.8 focus style petrol 09 last week.. I think it is nice with no rust at all, inside is very clean the seats are clean no fraying or rips. The engine bay is very clean but has no alloy wheels, the tyres have decent quality being low profile 215 55 16’ ….. the exhaust is blowing but I have a full hornet sport exhaust system with 2 3’ tail pipes and k&n air filter kit, that is being delivered today or Monday, they are meant to be awesome and sounds great. It’s 125bhp but with mods 140bhp. It’s metallic blue and has 70,864 miles on the clock so very low for age it’s a 2009. I think it’s the mk2.5 face lift ford focus. I do miss my old Skoda fabia estate 1.9 tdi elegance 05 which was remapped to 184bhp and quicker than the vrs. It’s getting used to the 1.8 petrol focus now which feels so slow but great car and with the hornet exhaust and k&n filter kit it should liven it up.
Sounds like you found yourself a decent car, I really like them in the metallic blue colour I think they look really nice, and that is very low mileage as well, similar to mine lol. Yeah it will feel slow compared to the fabia but it doesn't stop it from being a good car, let me know if you notice a difference once you've done your exhaust and filter!
@@LiamsToolboxmate it’s like brand new inside and in the engine bay, obviously a bit rust on the springs front and back. Just noticed it will need brakes and disc’s before mot in July. It’s such low mileage at 70904. Just hoping the hornet exhaust system replaces the part that is blowing, the bloke said the previous owner made a hole in the exhaust to make it sound louder the bloody donut 🍩
@@LiamsToolbox I’ve just found out how to use the menu on the dashboard, it says steering and then 3 options comfort mode standard and sport, what is the difference?
I love the ford focus just replaced my 2001 ford focus 1.4 petrol it was battered but never let me down just got another focus 59 plate 1.6 petrol it's done just over 100000 miles but runs like a dream such great cars
I’ve had my ford focus style 1.8 petrol 09 for 6 days now and I’m starting to feel better about it now. It’s got 70,800 miles on the clock and very tidy. I have full hornet exhaust and k&n induction kit coming today or Monday and can’t wait to fit it. I might make a before and after video on my UA-cam channel

Yeah the 1.6 petrol is not the best on fuel but it is a really reliable engine! If you look after it, it will keep on going.
@clarkyyy2105 kind of expecting that 100,000 miles on a focus is nothing really the engines I've known these engines go over 300,000
Yeah I've seen quite a few that are in the 200,000's
