- My absolute favorite mod is back with an absolutely INCREDIBLE update AND it's on my absolute favorite engine, this is the absolute best thing I could ask for!!! I am MADLY in love with this entire mod, I can genuinely replay it over and over again and never get bored, all the songs are absolutely fantastic, the art is just drowning in creativity and charm and the entire mod is just SO well made all around!!! This update literally made this the perfect mod for me personally, it's genuinely crazy how awesome it is in every single regard. All the different gimmicks for the characters, all corresponding to their own personalities!! And the characters are all so fantastic and interesting, even when they don't use any dialogue! And when they DO use dialogue, they're even better, my god that last secret song was absolutely insane, I loved that gimmick so much. I've definitely had some dilemmas about how I should present some songs, mainly Crack and Egomania, I was thinking if I should replace the volume of the songs, so it's consistent, but I figured it'd be best to show how cool the gimmicks are by themselves! Also I hope it gets more people to stream music from this mod and just download and play it themselves, it deserves at LEAST one million downloads, I still think it's so damn underrated. Absolutely wonderful mod, I had a ton of fun playing through it and I'll definitely play it much more in the future! Hope you guys enjoy!

This channel consists of videos about modifications to a rhythmic video game (some of which I personally worked on) that range from slightly difficult to very hard for most players. Four arrows fly towards the screen forcing you to press them at the right time to the music. Hitting all the arrows in a song counts as a "Full Combo", which is very hard to do and takes a lot of time and practice to be able to do consistently and is the main gimmick of my channel, which I showcase in each video. I also include secrets and extra content that might’ve been undiscovered and show them off through instructional and entertaining ways that can be used as guides, as well as occasionally adding my own input on things happening in the video, all done through my creative editing style that focuses on being concise and transformative. In the descriptions I give my in-depth opinion on the video game as well as timestamps for each part of the video. Martian Mixtape is one of the few mods actually able to capture the same vibe as the original game in my opinion. Probably helps that it features the fbi guys from Alien Hominid
It even references this more as in this week he is called bf-hominid

This mod tells it's story by in-game visuals alone and that by far makes it better than half of the mods out there.

@@deandage2703 alien crash lands near boyfriend, they rap, he dies. idk what the next bits meant to be about, maybe about a company that does dna stuff or something. then a person in a tinfoil hat comes along, theorist, and believes in his aliens. we are then transported to a lab and i have no clue how, where xigmunds are being mass produced. they then break out, and process repeats i think

This is the most unique mod I've ever seen, the animation changes when the agent is losing, dialogue while the song is playing, some cool gimmicks and pretty good songs
I would like for other mods to do this. When the guy is losing, they usually have the same animation, but when the animation actually changes because of them losing, it's a lot more cooler in that way.
This mod is too underrated, especially with the amount of effort and passion it has. The mod itself is one of my personal favorites for me.

@@jenniferdunstan5065 while I know that, it’s really disrespectful to say THATS ALL THEY DID. They added like 12 songs, remastered 2, added mechanics, remastered the menu, and fixed week 2. Saying they just added elements of Alien Hominid really discredits how much work was put into the update.
Honestly, with it being alien-themed and all, I think having the FBI guys really was an unexpected but cool touch. And, to be frank, I feel like this one is the closest we'll have for an Alien Hominid mod, especially with how the game itself is still pretty obscure in a way.
Okay, the idea for Egomania is just brilliant (and ironic considering the rest of the mod lacks dialogue).
I love how each of the FBI agents have their own special mechanic to them, like the first one damaging you to make himself more confident while he’s losing, the second one (most likely) can’t be damaged because of his shield, and the third one messing with your game stuff
Apparently, aegis' mechanic is that when you lose progress, you cant get it back, as well as starting at the left
An epic comeback for an epic mod! This mod is very underrated for the amount of incredible songs and the amount of mechanics it has!

Third agent: *messes with your sight and sound*

Egomania is probably the first song I've seen to give flippy a less that 100% sick rating, give it a *DUCKIN* round of applause

I have never heard of this engine but it is definitely better than Pysch engine. This is only my own opinion.
The input is better as well, definitely needs to be updated to kade engine and newground fnf's input soon since they're still better atm

Input is nice. Personally I think it needs ghost tapping, and it has that issue where hitting a note when you first load a song lags the game
Can we all just agree that Kade Engine 1.8 has always had the better input system?

I find it really cool that in Aegis, you are unable to regain health. As if the shield is blocking you. One of the coolest gimmicks for its simplicity

always loved harolds character as a concept but thought his first two songs were kind of bland, nice to see tinfoil get updated and itch get replaced with jitter which is FAR surperior, and of course exclusion zone still does and always has gone so hard : )

Martian Mixtape has to be my favorite mod, really, just everything about it is so good. It is packed with content, having multiple songs that you can play over and over and over. Also one of the most creative mods out there, Annihilation had me chuckling. Also, Egomania is the best song in the mod.
I already thought the mod was underrated when it first came out with just week 1.
Things turned from underrated to downright criminal that the mod still went mostly unnoticed when 2.0 dropped.
If the 3.0 update doesn't recieve the attention it deserves im gonna blow up some of my nerves and turn into a vegetable.

I love this! From the music and designs to the mechanics and comedy it is AWESOME!!! 10/10 nd a few cool details I spotted are: the alien messing up, the original FBI agent getting worried both in the bar and the main sprite, the LOVELY backgrounds, the fake aliens getting shot and poofing, the ship being the speaker, the text appearing over the game, and the Alien Hominid refences. This mod is PERFECT
if I was asked "what is your favorite mod?" I would definitely say that one of my favorite mods is Martian Mixtape, I just can't understand why no one notices this mod?
The FBI part being redone is awesome. It wasn't bad, but the high notes made my ears bleed. Perfect now, nothing to say, except noice
having your mod start off with the opponent ticked off at you, as well as being an alien with an already short temper makes the whole "you win and he get mad" thing make a lot more sense

I still remember when the original version of this mod first came out. So memorable, and instantly became one of my top favourites. Now, after more and more getting added on, with all types of music, art, packed into 25 tracks with cool and zany characters, lore, humour, flavour and ORIGINALITY. There's something for Behemoth/Alien Hominid fans or fans of Newgrounds in general, there's something for fucking [Adult Swim] fans, even it's own little B-Side but having completely new songs on top of that, each week bringing something new, secrets, new gimmicks and mechanics that don't make the gameplay impossible or stray too far from what fnf is meant to be. A rhythm game. Many jokes along the way, hype around any and every corner, a kick-ass engine, and it all came from the simple, classic "Alien" concept. This is without a doubt the best thing that has come out of the fnf community, maybe fnf entirely. The characters in this mod have become so memorable for me and now I'll never forget this masterpiece or the people who made it. Cuz this can NOT be topped. AND IT IS *SO* FUCKING CRIMINALLY UNDERRATED!!- HOW HAS IT STAYED LIKE THIS FOR *THIS* LONG?!?!--

I've realised that Pelvic uses some sound effects that are also used in Jet set radio's soundtrack
damn this mod likes crashing on me, I didn't skip through the dialogue fast enough to have no dialogue at the end so it crashed, and there was simply a random crash at the end of the crack cutscene
Edit: as the crash handler says, "Forever Engine, Forever riddled with bugs!"
