My favorite clasps are the Lobster and Toggle Clasp, I love the Box Clasp. I may be dating myself, but I grew up wearing my pearls with a Box Clasp. Since hate is a strong word, I will say I dislike the magnet clasp. I have lost many bracelets. Enjoyed the video, thanks for sharing.
I’m experienced, but enjoyed hearing your opinions of each type. I agree about magnetic clasps being very risky. My only thought on toggles on necklaces is to be sure the necklace weighs enough to keep the clasp from opening if you bend over. I have had that happen with a larger toggle on a lighter necklace.
Very informative and I am not a newbie. I chose my clasps based on the fact that I have arthritis and low dexterity in my hands. I use lobster clasps but hate them because I have a hard time using them.
I used to love toggles. I now wear oxygen and for some reason toggles seem to come undone now. I don't know, but I suppose the hose hanging down in the front of my chest may be doing something to cause it to come undone. Strange.
