But other than that there’s surely not much of a difference, however I thought I would let you know in case you wanted to switch to freshly ground though I do say this knowing that there’s many accessibility limitations when it comes to shredding your own cheese unfortunately! Didn't weigh the cheese just put half a handful at a time until it looked cheesy, had the perfect consistency for me and taste tested as I went. As an extra i also add 1/4 to half a teaspoon of mustard powder and salt and pepper to liking. Basically a very easy recipe to wing. Can't really go wrong with it :)
Had to look it up, so 50 gr cheese is the same as 1/4 cup, because I want to use this with pan fried potatoes, I'm going to use 1cup cheese 4tb flour, butter and 2 cups milk ;) we Americans are lost when you start talking metrics LOL, thinking of adding salt pepper and cyan pepper for some kick

If you fry the flour and butter for a minute or two bubbling but not brown and stiring fast it cooks the flour and butter first and so when you pour in the milk or broth or water it foams up high and becomes thick suddenly like magic . Southern fried gravy . Fun to make sauce , gravy , cheese sauce , stew , vegetable sausce ., spaghetti sauce . One can tomato sauce and one can water and a spoon of flour will thicken up again . But too much water and flour might make pink tomato soup instead of spaghetti sauce . But dont let it burn and stick to thr pan

I tried this. My final texture isn’t as running as the video. I had to add more milk. Definitely more than 120ml And in the beginning when I add the flour, it was clumpy when mixed with the butter. But I added my milk anyways. And I notice with that size of butter, the buttery smell/taste/flavour is very strong.
