I am humbled. I learn best by authoritative teaching rather Authoritarian mess. Your teaching using muscle memory to solidify my conflict through football ( a bestial game of violence) I am learning through the method use to become an excellent logical athlete which pissed off most. So there is someone who cares because I challenged myself for 40 minutes and just learned to accept and love those I love through the teaching of you. I am still the great athlete who hates to hate and now I have a great outlet and now my room, that I pay for, here is a true paradise for study and learning without hate or fear or association. I am now a truly free person. So keep challenging this older football player and scholar which i thought was a contradiction but it is a gift from God and so are you and your mom. I never had much but now I have you as as positive family model. Thank you so much and keep moving. Yes, the tears are of joy and a happy feeling . I did it with 20 lb weights. This surprise routine saved me from deciding whether I'll begin to daily alternate between your beginner and intermediate 30 day workout plans, or search through UA-cam to find a routine for the day. I'm most impressed by the imagination and ingenuity of your routines, April, and I so admire Aiko truly putting her all into this 2nd Anniversary program! I, too, favor the side-to-side move: it's easier on my knees, and lo! easy peasy as it looks, April created a truly deceptive cardio challenge in part 1. Part 2 was great as well in keeping with simplicity of this entire routine. Now, perhaps we can await a side-to-side routine focusing on upper body strength only. Wow, today's workout was exceptional. I am so glad Aiko likes side-steps and you could build a 40-minute Walking at Home Workout around them. This was everything built into one and i thoroughly enjoyed completing it with Aiko and you. I am a cat person, so seeing Mochi was such a treat to my cat Buffie and me. I finally tried this workout today and enjoyed it. In keeping with your recent advice about exercise for weight loss, I started with the warmup and then went straight to the Lower Body Strength Workout (for which I used 5-pound dumbbells), and then came back to the Side Step Cardio Walking Workout after the cooldown, and then did an additional cooldown after the cardio. Thanks for posting the time stamps to the different parts of the workout -- that made it much easier for me to change the order of the exercises. I kept it all low impact (no jumps) but otherwise followed April's moves on the exercises.

Great cardio workout because of the arm movements. Arm movements are important to me because I have neglected my arms. And I’m proud of myself because after 4 weeks I can smoothly do the “Grapevine” move with arm movements!

Fantastic! This is what we love to hear. What's happening is that you are gaining muscle. Muscle weighs more than fat! Though your weight is stable, you now have more muscle than fat, which has many benefits including as you note, your muscles are more defined, you're stronger, AND you're burning more calories because muscle burns more calorie than fat. Keep up the excellent work! We're so proud of you and love being by your side everyday! ❤️

They're both good. It depends on whether you want to include strength training in a workout for a particular day. This one is a two-fer: walking with the added the bonus of strength training to build muscle in your legs. The current Physical Activity Guidelines for Americans say each week adults need 150 minutes of moderate-intensity physical activity and 2 days of muscle strengthening activity. So this workout enables you to contribute to both of these weekly goals. Yay! 😊

Wow, today's workout was exceptional. I am so glad Aiko likes side-steps and you could build a 40-minute Walking at Home Workout around them. I finally tried this workout today and enjoyed it. In keeping with your recent advice about exercise for weight loss, I started with the warmup and then went straight to the Lower Body Strength Workout (for which I used 5-pound dumbbells), and then came back to the Side Step Cardio Walking Workout after the cooldown, and then did an additional cooldown after the cardio. Thanks for posting the time stamps to the different parts of the workout -- that made it much easier for me to change the order of the exercises. I kept it all low impact (no jumps) but otherwise followed April's moves on the exercises.

Great cardio workout because of the arm movements. Arm movements are important to me because I have neglected my arms. And I’m proud of myself because after 4 weeks I can smoothly do the “Grapevine” move with arm movements!

Fantastic! This is what we love to hear. What's happening is that you are gaining muscle. Muscle weighs more than fat! Though your weight is stable, you now have more muscle than fat, which has many benefits including as you note, your muscles are more defined, you're stronger, AND you're burning more calories because muscle burns more calorie than fat. They're both good. It depends on whether you want to include strength training in a workout for a particular day. This one is a two-fer: walking with the added the bonus of strength training to build muscle in your legs. The current Physical Activity Guidelines for Americans say each week adults need 150 minutes of moderate-intensity physical activity and 2 days of muscle strengthening activity. So this workout enables you to contribute to both of these weekly goals. Yay! 😊
