Interesting finds this week. You never know what is going to show up. Two dollar coin looks like it has been damaged after minting to me from what i can see on the screen.

Yep. I think I've seen this coin before or one similar and I think it's a error. I think it's a foreign body between the dye and the blank and most likely the blank wasn't cut perfectly and some offcut material found its way onto the blank and remained there all the way through the process until it was struck.
Hey Dan, a nice variety of coins, nice grade GACH1 Yowie, of all this years corporate coins the Vegemite coins are the standout for me, the Rio Olympics blue ring is the pick of the hunt for me, not sure about the "error coin" either way it would be a keeper for my oddities box, thanks for sharing your coin collecting week.
