Against Fiora, Renek built correctly. Cause if you build bruiser you just lose post 6. If you build BOTRK first and just go damage, you have a chance to make it to mid game. Either way though you just have to accept that you fall off hard either way and are gonna be quite heavy post 18 min mark against a fiora.
Yeah but it's a challenger game, you don't build for the 1v1 you build to win the game.
@@Olixer109 Maybe building bruiser renek would make the game easy for Fiora so she'd be able to get fed and carry. I give the benefit of the doubt to the chall player building it lol
@Oliver Not saying I disagree. My thought process on how the game went was that Fiora wasn't super present in the important fights because she was up to dealing with Renek. I am not sure if that is because Renek went damage build, thus having the ability to shove lane super fast and take towers fast, or if it was a straight-up missplay on her part. But because of this, it allowed the fed Mid/jung/bot carry the game despite renekton being Heavy af.
Ultimately, I think the Renek was trying to build a lead and try and hold it as long as possible. By the time he finished his Botrk, he was even and once you have finished it, it is really too late to heavily change your build. Not like it would have made a difference. Like I stated. A standard Renek build that isn't full damage just auto loses the lane and a renek that is full tank is only marginally useful to his team in a 5v5 setting. Literally, any other dedicated tank is better.
So. Go assassin. The goal is to get a lead on your laner. And then become strong enough to one-shot whichever carry is fed and hope to God you don't fall behind. But if you do fall behind. Then you are in the same position as if you went bruiser or full tank. So... it doesn't really matter at that point because you are gonna be useless then.
And this is why Renekton is actually really bad in Solo Que. If he was actually balanced for Solo Que and not pro play, then this would be an entirely different conversation.
I like renek that build mid more than top, but I feel the fiora matchup is unplayable mod game.and beyond no matter what.
@@Olixer109 lol hell no. if you’re facing a fiora and didn’t snowball you HAVE to build for the 1v1. otherwise she’ll just split push the entire game and no one in the team could match her. Renek is not a tank that can be useful just by buying dirt cheap items and be a meat shield for his team

renekton has 2 diffrent build paths one normal build wich is the brusier build and then we have that build wich is the assassin with pta and i thought that was behind meta (sorry for bad english)
yeah I think renekton didnt realize that he should've gone bruiser since his team had more than enough damage and fiora eventually outscales him anyways. Just bad itemization which kind of encouraged him to fight fiora 1v1. However, it is an int but pretty sure that he knows not to build that into this team comp.

funny how kat jokingly talks crap pregame, but I swear not to long ago I watched Bob demolish Katevolved mid lane and Kat's chat flamed him(Katevolved).
He wasn't joking though . That's katevolved he talks alot of shit and flames others . He's very toxic but still one of the best Katarina out there . I stopped watching him because of how much toxicity runs through in a single stream

Renek obv has more dmg because he has more deaths meaning he had way more all out fights to stack dmg
@@charmy5341 Also toplaners will consistently have more damage. Constant skirmishes with larger HP pools and greater sustain. Tops will regularly fight way more often due to the importance of controlling wave state and punishing attempts to CS. Yes, more deaths means more overall fights, but the same would not be true for any other role

I dissagree. Although I like bob's personality more, fact is a fact. KatEvolved proved himself in his korea trip. He is surely one of the best otp's and best katarina (with kata 1000 maybe)

@@shaan2639 Katevolved didnt just play Katarina in Kr, he just posted videos of his best moments there but he got wrecked a shitload of times. Boongwa is a far better Katarina, stayed over 1k elo in kr for a whole season, Katevolved started deteriorating after awhile almost back to gm.
