Karin Bohn is the founder and creative director behind the award-wining Vancouver-based design firm, House of Bohn (www.houseofbohn.com). Karin established the interior design firm over 8 years ago, and since has made her mark on the West-Coast Canadian design scene in many industries including high-end residential, multi-family, restaurants and retail. I am a 22-year-old entrepreneur and college student from Los Angeles and have been documenting building my tech startup from day one on my channel. 11 months and a whole lot of work later I have been able to get my startup that I started in my room to 80K in revenue. Coming back to your channel I just keep getting more and more value from you which is what I hope I can do for others some day. Truly, thank you.

totally agree with wanting to have people better than you. its the true measure of growth in terms of pushing your ego aside....which you have to do. you can't grow your company if you're not growing the people in your company.

How do you approach clients with the proposal to film a meeting for a youtube video? Do you feel they are usually willing to share their plans?
This is a really good question. I have been documenting building my tech startup on my channel from day one and I have been wondering myself how they would react of me asking to film our interactions. It would make good content, but at the same time, I do not want to impede on their privacy.
It’s sooooo refreshing to see this type of business and enterpreneurial content from a woman’s perspective. Women have so much more on our plates than men. I loove your channel!!! Can’t wait to see your new office design so I can get ideas for my new office location 😁

This is something I wish to know as well! Alfredo Sequeida absolutely! It would be nice to hear her touch upon this. I remember her mentioning she got her first few jobs theough referral where back then the key was to “keep those clients” by providing excellent overall service “both technical and customer focused”...would love to hear expand furthermore on those first few opportunities though!!

First love you outfit ... and thanks for providing us with such great content, even though you are tired.. I want to say that as you spoke I can see in my our job( it’s not design) where you’d be remiss not to allow your staff to apply their knowledge. I mean you’d be running around wearing too many hats and you would quickly burn out, which would stunt your growth. And second, I’d really like to commend you on recognizing that you do need talented experienced people around you and not be threatened by their talents , and of-course be willing to relinquish the need to control every aspect of your environment at all times 👏...
