If the other bank paid the same interest rate on their savings and checking accounts as SOFI, they would have to cancel their dividends. If it is so easy to do, why is SOFI the fastest growing bank while the big banks aren't growing? I can tell you personally that Bank of America sucks from a customer perspective.
JPM, BoA, etc. are battleships. Battleships are not known for their ability to change direction quickly. Cray couldn't adapt when PCs hit the market. Kodak couldn't adapt to digital photography. Believe it or not, K-Mart was a Wall Street darling in the mid-80s. Walmart then the internet sealed that coffin. Wall Street is littered with the worthless stock certificates of companies that investors thought were too big to challenge.

Look at the key metrics and the track record this is not a meme stock by any stretch of the imagination. They have been steadily growing and hitting numbers, the stock price will eventually catch up to the success they have had steadily growing the business.
Nothing in the stock market is priced differently from its financials. If it's a profitable company, you will see their stock in good shape. In Sofi case their net income year over a year is negative. For years now and they have negative income(losing money every year) . For the price to skyrocket, they need positive Financials

In most cases yes, the broad market likes companies with strong financials and thus it is reflected in the stock price. But there are plenty of exceptions and day traders and gamblers are also a part of the market. If anything they are a growing demographic due to social media and the growth of no fee brokerages .
I try to remove them as they show up, but sometimes hundreds appear at once. UA-cam still doesn't have a fix after a few years of this. Reporting them does help though!
And because of that so many people aren't aware that ai/tech aspect carries this company through tough moments keeping it afloat, unlike a bank that only relies on its bank stuff. Once sofis bank stuff takes off it'll go crazy

it’s a personal decision, but according to Forbes, housing activities will remain stagnant for the most part of the year, so maybe hold off a little.
