Once Kawhi gets the ball inside the 3pt line its either two points for him or a wide open 3 for one of our other players. But recently I've been looking forward to his defense, especially the blocks and steals. It feels like PG, Mann and Norm are all shooting the 3 ball real well in the last 5 games. Zu double digit rebounds, Harden double digit assist. Even WB seem efficient the last few games.
Dime, your boys are hoopin bro! I have no idea what my Lakers are doing? Sheesh! Your squad looks like the players not only enjoy playing together but are taking the entire regular season seriously as well. Coach Ty Lue is proving that he has a knack for working with players and getting them to buy into whatever it is he and his staff are teaching. The #1 seed in the west and maybe even the entire nba is there for The Clippers to seize. Ya'll got some tough games coming up... Hope the players step up to the challenge! Keep it going guys!!
@@benjamin-qn7nf ....yea i am following your squad because Russ joined late last season. I was not one of The Lakers fans that wanted him gone. I like players that take every game seriously and that is Russ all day every day. You guys got a good dude in that locker room bro, a natural leader. I'm not a huge James Harden fan but he is also someone that will play every single night and try to win every single game. I think your two stars are probably motivated and inspired by those two players. As for my Lakers we'll see. I hate that the leaders of the team were more interested in the IST.... Why not attack all the games like that?
I actually went to the game I swear the Memphis grizzlies fans thought they was gonna win and was stressed out. I also got into with a guy who kept saying “Westbrick” other than that.. LFG CLIPS !
The key to the Minnesota game is defense. They struggle to score against great defense. After Kat and Ant they really don't have a lot of natural scorers(Conley probably could be but he seems fine limiting his shot attempts) If The Clippers can hold The T Wolves to around 101-106 pts i think they can win this game.
@@CoachD515 ...yea. I actually like The T Wolves in this particular spot. I don't like the way The Clippers allow so many offensive rebounds and second chance points but we'll see. The T Wolves are very long and length seems to bother T Mann, Harden, PG, Kawhi, and Russ.... Nothing seems to bother Norm....😁 Also Zu doesn't have a size advantage here and i worry a bit about his and Theis' ability to score on the interior. This looks simply like a match up disadvantage for The Clippers. That's why they play the games!
@@sammyslam1 yea it definitely does. In games like this we need to hurry the pace and shoot threes. Can’t be slow and try to force contested middys all game like we did with the Lakers. I’m going to be interested to see Rudy in pick n roll.
@@CoachD515 ...i agree. If i were Coach Ty Lue, i would not hesitate to switch to a five out plan if Zu is struggling inside against size. Snatch out Zu, put in Theis and play five out. Then bring Zu in when Rudy sits and feed him with Naz Reid on the floor.
The reason of the offense success isn’t Terrance mann over russ in the starting lineup, ok tmann is better 3 point shooter but it’s only 2 a game, it’s more because harden and PG duo is clicking better now with more playing time together and zubac is making some plays too
Well as a Russ fan i do think with Big Zu in the middle, T Mann makes more sense with the starters. Even though Russ is improving his off the ball game, Mann has played that way his entire career from the start so there are just habits built in where he is just comfortable playing a role. Russ is still a star level player so on the court he will attempt to make plays. If Harden played more off the ball with Russ as the pg, then they could play together more cohesively but even then, i would not want a traditional center with those 4 stars playing together. I would want more of the Boston Celtics look with a center that spaces the floor. I think Russ' minutes will start to increase as the postseason draws closer. He will be on the floor a lot with James Harden. That's why i think he is playing so much as an off the ball guard.
@@sammyslam1 agree Russ can do better in a 5-out : Russ, bones, kawhi, Kai jones and PJ or Theiss. Russ likes to play fast and with space and without a big in the paint is easy for him to finish
@@marciaaaron6044 ...yea kudos to Russ for trying man. Star players are usually pretty stubborn about having reduced roles or playing in a way that's totally different from the way that made them a star. As a Lakers fan i would like to see Bron make that same decision and allow D Lo to be the team's pg. I believe "the team" would play better.
@@sammyslam1 a solution is to have 2 lineups if you have a good bench like the Clippers in the regular season it’s good cause the stars are old so they don’t need much playing time to adjust
@@marciaaaron6044 ...i agree but Coach Lue is not that type of head coach. He believes in core guys getting all the minutes. Your suggestion is exactly how i would manage a deep roster as well. Of course with the occasional foul trouble you might have to play certain guys with different groups but for the most part i would like to have two different five man groups.
Daniel Theiss is nice man and he can space, Plumlee is more like a backup for zubac same role but Theiss is a lil more versatile can play in the 5-out with Kai jones
There is many guards in the league, point guards that bones hyland can guard no mismatch, actually he might be better in guarding someone like Trae young Steph curry, because he can be annoying and have stamina to persue those sjhifty guards full court and he have good balance .
The 5-out lineup with Russ, bones, kawhi, Kai jones PJ or Theiss Russ will have more freedom to get to the basket, kawhi will be like a big guard, like a pick and roll between Russ and kawhi is nice with russ beeing the roller
We can’t let they trade bones, PJ, AND POWELL for a big like PJ Washington they saying. It’s so dumb PJ Washington isn’t even a good bi defensive can’t protect the rim, they just need Kai jones no trades Kai jones is super cheap rookie contract and he will unlock the 5-out lineup that bones can shine and PJ Tucker too: bones, Russ, kawhi , Kai jones, PJ. Kawhi will like this too playing ISO like a big guard with freedom to go all the way and dunk
The team is looking good, the stars are playing some amazing ball, the supporting cast is doing well too, love Cofey getting his shine back and playing well. There are still concerns with hat this team is too small and hopefully that is addressed by the deadline. As well as Clips are doing, this new bargaining deal leaves little wiggle room to get better, which leaves some guys to be potential trade packages. Clippers need to trade Bones or trade Russ, I’d prefer Russ go but that’s just me. A lot of good pieces are available that can help the team but some hard decisions will have to be made such as T-Mann being shipped off for a real power forward with length and the log jam at the guard position. Nevertheless, we will see how they do against a massive team such as the timberwolves tomorrow.
Are you crazy!?.. how can you think about trading either one, especially Russ? Russ is the heart of the team, are you even paying attention to his impact on the team??….. clippers are good with what they have, don’t mess it up.
Got to give something to get something. Not sure Clippers fan realize how terrible Tickers contract is and how hard it’ll be to trade it, so there’s no just trading only Tucker for a serviceable player, it’s attaching other player/s to it and Russ can go to a team that can use his services, Bones is younger rather hold on to him, but doubt it Clippers trying to upgrade around the edges that they can keep both.
Your killing me man with these introductions 😂😂
