- After an incredible Le Mans centenary race, there was no better place to resume the 2023 FIA WEC season than in Monza. In front of a red sea of Tifosi, who came to celebrate their heroes’ victory in la Sarthe. Toyota, which saw their Le Mans winning streak ended by Ferrari in June, had only one thing in mind: revenge.
In collaboration with Motul, the WEC Full Access series is back with a full in-depth episode dedicated to the 2023 6 Hours of Monza. The best moments of the race complemented with exclusive behind-the-scenes images will put you once again at the heart of the action!
The FIA World Endurance Championship is the world’s premier international sportscar championship, contested over seven rounds across North America, Europe, Asia and the Middle East. With multiple cars across three categories (Hypercar, LMP2 and LMGTE Am) all on track at the same time, the WEC is a sports car extravaganza that offers action, overtakes, excitement and entertainment for fans worldwide.
WEC Full Access is succeding where Drive to Survive has failed ...
No unecessary drama no bs , just a full immersion in a race WE
10/10 TOP episode
Need drama for popularity
So true, this is the real "Drive to survive"
DTS is a dramatization and a distortion of what once was the diamond tip of motorsports, F1. This, WEC full access, is as raw as one can get in conveying the essence of motorsports. A true gift to all motorsports fans all over the world.
Even the Win the Weekend in IMSA is good
Yet they give us no ads in the races
Looks like The Pinnacle of Motorsport has a chink it its armor
@@lukedanielgalon1596 loved Win the Weekend , the only downside is that it "only" has 6 Episodes .. but hey I'll take Quality over Quantity any day !
another 10/10 episode. loved the toyota crew cheering on hartley. gave off a "bunch of mates watching the race on a couch at home" vibe
15:45 Respect for Kazuki and Toyota!
It cannot be stressed enough. WEC coverage is top notch.
Thank you so much for those insides, you participate in your own way to the "rebirth" of the WEC ! Remember that joke, 10 years ago : "the difference between F1 and WEC ?, in F1 every spectator knows the first name of every driver, in WEC, it is the opposite !" that time is over, partially thanks to you ! Bravo !
WEC Full Access delivers again
Wow. These full access videos are incredible.
When the folks at Peugeot were like "Allez! Allez!" as the car was about to cross the finish line, I FELT that.
I mean, look at them. They were memes for the past year, now they can throw hands and fight for glory here. Imagine them returning to the form they have during 2008-2009.
Oder Peugeot kommt zurück zum Ruhm der frühen 90iger wie mit den 905 💪
Love the editing in these videos. Especially the unfiltered moments. Like Felix De Costa's steering and communication issues. Also the audio direction. Raw engine noise on the track. Plus the great piano melody 27:30 was a nice touch.
The Toyota moment with the 777 in their pit was absolutely a display of all of the aspects of human emotion with a word we don't see in general society humanistic.
Ben Keating, the platinum bronze. Congratz ! And well done Peugeot !
Having him and Bovy as Bronze drivers feels like a loophole tbh ! They will be even more valuable next year due to that PRO-AM rule !
@@NoobMaster__69The driver ratings will be the same as this season in GTE so:
- 1 Gold / Plat
- 1 Silver
- 1 Bronze
I'm also not sure if we will see either back for next year. Keating doesn't like to race cars with ABS so he will most likely do LMP2 in IMSA and Bovy should have been upgraded to silver this year already but the FIA didn't do that for some reason. Let's see.
This series videos are amazing!! Thanks, thanks a lot!!!
This just gets better and better, BRAVO !
Nice work 9.9/10! Just miss a litle of LMP2 and GTs
Awesome episode again well done!, i hope you can put more focuse in the GT class next year without LMP2 field (Except Le Mans)
These episode just keep getting better and better. The best content for the best racing series. Keep it up guys.
Pure class on Toyota’s apology.
This is really getting better and better guys. The level of WEC is getting higher and the production quality too ! Amazing ! Now let’s plan inter-race interviews and documentaries about teams and pilots. That would be stunning !
Wow all of the drivers in this one looked quite angry and annoyed 😅 must be the heat
Well done, folks! This was amazing. Please keep doing these.
Kamui Kobayashi is such a likable guy
he’s so good too
..and a blisteringly quick guy as well.
Another great show, well done to all involved!
Hands down the best Motorsports coverage. Give me more. I love the human aspect of this series as this is what has me. To see the rivalries grow in Hypercar is what will propel WEC and IMSA, bring on Lamborghini. I wonder how long AUDI, Mercedes, Mazda and even Hyundai will sit on the sidelines before we see then throwing their hats into the field. You need to have a race between Now and September though. You could got to Imola, Silverstone or even Magny Cours and I would not be mad. As Stan Lee used to say excelsior.
Audi, sadly, has officially abandoned their Sportcars stuff to do F1. Not surprisingly this thing angers a lot of fans (and a lot of their current and former racing customers)
They are now making the trip to Japan by ship so I'm not sure you could really fit a race in between. Maybe one in Asia might be an option, idk Shanghai or Malaysia for example. The European leg will surely get bigger though with either Silverstone or the Nürburgring.
@@AbrahamArthemius I know but the Crowds have been huge and the interest is there to tempt them to come back.
@@Maenfy I don't know many tracks in Asia but I am sure there must be one or 2 like Sepang. I would love Twin Rings Motegi 2.
@@skeetssaer2018
Audi fully focus on F1 (2026-beyond)
Mercedes still traumatize from 1999
Mazda (we don't know)
Hyundai in WRC
Love to watch every "Full Access"
Fantastic video !
Another Great Show from wec crew ❤❤❤ 🇵🇹🏁💪
Please keep making this Full Access videos after every races
Finding myself cheering for Glickenhaus at 9:59 is priceless 🥲 thank you WEC for making me smile so much 💙 best season ever!
this is a great way to relive the race, i love to see this sort of content! though now i'm sad all over again for wrt 31 :((
Another fantastic episode. Can't wait for Fuji!
Great stuff !!!
Give us 20 minutes le mans extended highlight man
These are getting better and better!!
now this is great content
Wec could be onto something massive here these longer videos on here are great
Brilliant highlights.
WEC full access > drive to survive
Wow, classy, classy move by the Toyota guys to go to the DStation garage to talk to the drivers and apoligize. I guess I'm not too surprised, knowing Toyota and how they deal with things, but it was really cool to see.
Those Toyotas are animals!
i like👍 the authenticity of full access wec
Love these!
Top quality content. Great job. And lovely Lou Lou, top quality presenter and perfect woman
I’d love to work in that environment. Everyone focused to the max on the same goals. But the pressure might get too much to me.
even though the drivers are rivals with eachother I still sense the comradery between them
That's what I love about the Japanese - Toyota accidentially and without intention sent Aston Martin into the wall, and they immediately deliver a personal, proper apology to the Aston guys. They were a bit under the pump, as they had to make good their "loss" against Ferrari at Le Mans, but they handled the situation very professionally.

Japanese to Japanese🎌
Tremendous insight into this great but confusing series
Is it confusing because there are multiple classes?
@@salmanfarruz yes
@@johnnycomelately6341 relatable and understandable. I used to be confused as well but you'l get the hang of it
Ehh, you'll get the hang of it. Plus next year it will be a lot simpler since LMP2 is gone while GTE is replaced by GT3 making the series a two class race (Prototypes & GT)
Keep up the good content!
I think there has to be one for each category. There was a lot of focus on lmh and not enough on lmp2 and gte am
Revenge indeed ☕️
this is better than drive to survive and comes out a week after the race
31:18-31:22 sounds like Kimi Raikonnen
Honestly this EP is way different and perfect change for to prove F1 that there not the best in terms of coverage but everything in WEC and IMSA is way better than F1
Even the sense of community as well despite being in different tesms
???
How do I get rid of the subtitles. They are sooo intrusive
As someone who is new to WEC can you guys tell me why porsche is struggling this much? Also I didn’t know about Peuegot I got so happy they got the podium.
Because of the BOP. I don't understand why FIA is hard on Porsche with the BOP. And I'm not even a Porsche fan.
But if you're talking about technical and reliability stuff, they need to sort their shit out themselves.
Thats great content but don't you think other categories than hypercar are also racing... They have their dreams, ups and downs and beloved fans.
In le mans there is one gt car that crash badly in every year
keep the good content guys!
It went well for Toyota becayse the Ferrari 51 was hit at the beginning.
🏎💥
Great to see Neel Jani in a prototype where he belongs, sorry the car didn't make it.
Porsche.😊😮🎉❤
13 Horsespower less for Ferrari just because of the balance of performance was very disappointed ....
@lucaluca2131but the 37 kg on an already heavy car were right at Le mans right?
@@Wolf-Nero At Le Mans Ferrari was the fastest and has deserved to win .....
@@lucaluca2131 hypocrite. Ferrari won Le Mans because of BOP. Now the BOP between Toyota and Ferrari is back to where it should be.
Another 40-minute highlight video that makes it seem like WEC is a Hypercar-only series. After watching Hypercars for 36 minutes we suddenly discover "it's a championship win for the #33" GTE 🤣 ooh man...
It's particularly frustrating when the content of the video is so good, with all the insights and interpersonal moments. Shame.
Hypercar is where all the excitement is for the average viewer. If you play Sims though just about all the serious ones have the new Hypercars already.
@@skeetssaer2018 I mean, that is not an argument. There are teams and drivers putting blood, sweat and tears into the competition in three classes - respect them and show all of the classes if you wasnt to run a series with those three classes. It's also not difficult with 40 minutes.
@@SvalbardSleeperDistrictNo one cares about LMP2 & GTE dude
@@SvalbardSleeperDistrictThis program didn't exist before this season, I doubt many of the teams care that much to be honest. The focus also was quite a bit on GTE during Sebring. I think the followed Corvette, the Iron Dames and the #83 around quite a bit.
@@Ariespradana13 You can read the same response I gave to the other post. Also, speak for yourself, not with "nobody"s.
The LMDHs' are almost non-existent. As if they are dynamically a class above the LMP2s' but below the LMHs'.
Yeah, just sad
@@Ariespradana13brothers the cars are literally fucking new, chill the fuck out when the blue caddy was on pace in Le Mans, the Porsche jota was fairly even quicker than the LMH for a brief time.
goddamn you impatient people
WEC > F1
Formula E >>>> WEC
@@NikiN1 NEVER !
Porsche will 100% not win with the 963
Ferrari won't either with their post Le Mans BoP, Peugeot BoP looks great for Fuji though but still not sure they can overcome Toyota at home
and yet i could have sworn that they won with a 963 in imsa on the streets of Long Beach earlier in the year
@@rory6065 Only with BoP
@@CobraFerrariFth a win is a win is it not regardless of whether BoP adjustments have or haven't been made?

Too much people not enough cars
It's a full access episode, if you want the cars watch the race. The full 6 hours has been uploaded.
This is to show how the people and teams make things like this happen, cannot be done without them.
Toyota went crying to mom and revenge was provided on a silver platter.
Ferrari didn't have time to take countermeasures at the Monza BOP, but at Fuji they will....

@botcct7614 But according to the table that was always open live, the Ferrari had a top speed of 314 km/h and the toyota only 309 km/h, but in the end Ferrari didn't have a chance to catch up with Toyota again, probably at the beginning the Ferrari and the Peugeot were better... So it can't be the weight, but the power maybe even then...
So stop crying...
@@Wolf-Nero It's actually Toyota still crying for Le Mans, while I'm still laughing. Then don't give the example of top speed, that may be due to the setup (downforce - drag). It's the lap time that counts. Anyway, don't worry, for Fuji and Bahrain Ferrari will be ready, not even the BOP will stop us....
