Very informative review! This review is making me lean toward getting this tent! Thank you!
Happy to help! There will be more videos featuring the tent and other camping adventures in the near future. Stay tuned. And I think you will love the tent.
@@GetOutSmore Thank you because I'm looking for a tent that is easy to put up, fast and durable. I will be living in Hawaii when I purchase it. I plan on camping every weekend. It will just stay in my van until the next weekend when I use it again.
Love your video ! Ordered the 2 person last night ,can’t wait to get it !
Glad you enjoyed. I was debating between the 2 sizes, but I think you can’t go wrong either way. The build quality on these are great! If you want to see more, feel free to subscribe. I appreciate you checking out the video.
Hi just subscribed to your channel and watched you unboxing and setup of the XL space Acacia tent I ordered the XL myself with the lights and the extra canopy and the inflatable floor watching your video was very helpful as I kinda just do it and only read the instructions if it doesn’t make sense but as you have shown it pretty straight forward great job thank you
Thanks so much for the kind words and feedback. I’m glad it helped. Enjoy your tent. I’m making a video of the floor floating in my pool soon and then a camp video.
I just picked up a REI tent but this seems pretty cool
Thank you for sharing. I recently ordered the xl tent based on this review. I got this for camping at music festivals and camping in general. I am hesitant about getting the inflatable floor. Would the tent without the floor be good in the rain as well? I am just not sure since I already spent a lot on the tent and canopy and I am trying to see if the floor is worth the price. Thank you love the video and the doggies!
@@christineshandra2132 As far as rain goes, I don’t think the floor is essential at all. It’s more of a nice to have kind of thing. You’ll be fine without it. The tent has an enclosed floor on its own. Plus, the inflatable floor is kind of heavy so that’s another consideration. Kind of a 2 person job to move it. And thanks! I think you’ll love it!
I had the same concern you did with the door. I was afraid I would trip getting in and out of the door on shiftpod or overlandish base camp.
Yeah. It was a total deal breaker for me. Thanks for checking the vid out!
I like the concept of this tent. But, im too rough and would more than likely lose the inflatable floor quickly lol
Definitely a concern of mine too. I don’t love making big purchases unless I trust the longevity. Time will tell how truly durable it is. I will keep making content and report back on any issues. Acacia customer service has been a delight to deal with so far thankfully. I believe and hope that they’ll stand by their product.
Please do. I am interested in it because of all the shade structures it comes with, the square open door, and the big windows.
For now, my shiftpod and gazelle t4 are my go-to's.
^_^
So the inflatable floor is to insulate? I own am RBM Cuboid and I use floor pads and a tarp, and my set up is never cold when I run heat. Interesting that it could float? Game changer.
@@gregm9638 It’s more to give you a comfortable, cushioned adjustable floor no matter what your terrain is like at camp. I haven’t tested it in colder weather yet, but we do plan to over the next couple months. I’ve never seen the cuboid before, but it looks interesting. The inflatable floor is definitely the differentiator here. It’s beyond unique.
@GetOutSmore RBM makes a super industrial 4 season tent and their stove is really well designed. It's not cheap but if you take care of it l, it would last a decade, plus it is great in the old. It has an inside linner so no condensation build up. They use rebar for stakes, they provide screw in tent spikes for ice and they include a really good repair kit. They mention it's a sauna tent lol and just by accident I got it to 100 degrees by not knowing how to dampen the stove. Great Channel btw. I'm subscribing.
What would you say are the biggest benefits over the shift pod?
I find the large opening for entry and exit and loading stuff inside and the adjustable inflatable floor to be the biggest advantages. My older dog and my smaller dog would never make it inside a shiftpod on their own.
What is the lighting your using inside the tent?
It’s the aurora lighting system that came with the Kickstarter early backers. And the Acacia inflatable lighting tube. All were early perks the campaign.
Does it float?
It does indeed! We tested it in the pool overnight in this video. ua-cam.com/video/3D2dKspQHC4/v-deo.htmlsi=eU97FbBZRGb1GOuZ
Thank you for posting. I was going to order this but I was hesitant. Just ordered!
Awesome. Glad it helped you make a decision! You’ll love it! Stay tuned for updates when the inflatable floor comes.
