Me too. This was such an important show for me. I wasn’t into most types of programming. Just wanted to learn about the animal kingdom, and this show delivered the goods.
Wow...I forgot all about this show. I instantly remembered his name when the intro started. I grew up on this. Man...all these years later unreal. Kids today don't understand that there wasn't the internet, there wasn't dvr and half the time you didn't know what was coming on tv.
Preach. Been thinking about that a lot lately. Life pre-Internet. Before we became a bunch of impatient instant thrill seekers. Simpler times it we took less for granted. Ah well. Such is life. Thanks for the comment Chambers. 😂
This video must have been produced on the Eastern Slopes of the Cascade MT.s The Aspen Trees and semi open areas are common on the East Slopes of these mountains. Marty Stauffer had to spend a lot of time in the more remote areas to get the video of the Grouse and Goshawk in their natural settings.
Thanks for this up!
Ur welks
I remembered watching this show everyweek when it used to air weekly in the '90s

Seriously, the patience it must have taken to collect and scrub through all the footage. Just amazing.
