Crazy how you can be influenced and inspired by someone you’ve never met, Learned a lot from you man!! I remember 2 years ago watching your videos, motivated me to get my first bass ever, started learning by just watching your fingers, God bless you man!
GOD be praised. I watched a few of your shorts...and you are making so much encouraging progress. Keep up the excellent work, and keep your eyes fixed on JESUS.
Beautifully played. Wow. Every note fit so well and reinforced the lyrics. I can hear your worship. You play what I hear in my head but can’t figure out how to make my fingers do!
I noticed at 1:47 you changed something with the dials? How would you adjust the bass, midrange, and treble for a build up? (if that's what you adjusted). Also, I love your fills man. I use your bass covers to practice
Calvin, first thanks for the kind words. To GOD be the glory. I believe I was bringing the tone up at that point. The start of the song is very slow and quiet, so I started out with a less punchy tone. Once the drums come in fully, I usually take the the tone up to the maximum to add more punch and character..
@@esongsore Hi again Emmanuel! I love how you always focus on God through all the comments you respond to. With the bass, how would I bring up the tone using the dials?
Hi Abednego, thanks for watching. That is a difficult question for me to answer. I don't understand music theory (modes etc), so I simply made up a melodic line and played it. I know my major scale, and that's about as far as my theory knowledge goes. Maybe someone with knowledge of music throey can explain what I am doing. I listen to a lot of styles of Christian music and draw insights from those styles when I play. Sorry I can't provide a theoretically sound answer.

Most excellent!!!! Do you have that riff tabbed out from like 3:21 out?
Sorry. Unfortunately, I don have any of the things I play tabbed. Its all improvised in the moment after learning the song as is. GOD bless you
Have you tried tuning your guitar with the E being a low B. It's pretty interesting when the first string is a D instead of a G.
No I haven't. That will confuse my brain...hahaaaa. I will try it though :)
Please tutorial of that song, where is the song pause
can you tell me what technique/scale/modes that you use on 3:39 ? Thankyou, God Bless!

Pentatonic scale
Hy bro
:)
I can't hear your playing very well. If it's a bass cover, try and turn the track really low so your bass playing becomes the prominent sound :-)
I absolutely agree. Had a tech glitch with the last set of bass covers I recorded...and the bass ended up being lost in the mix. Apologies.
God bless
