Recovering from the aftermath of two brutal civil wars that lasted more than 14 years, there is high tension in the air as Liberia prepares for second elections of its democratic history. As a part of the UN peacekeeping mission in the country to ensure fair and trouble free elections, India has deployed a special all women police contingent unit that follows international standards of democratic policing. The film explores the life of this special team and their efforts towards peace and stability in the region as they defy defined gender roles and build an interim family in a faraway nation.
