New Jack Jeans.. This REALLY reminds me a lot of Bobby Brown - Every Little Step which is one of fave songs ever( despite what people think of him )... in effect it makes this easily one of my fave newjeans songs.. straight into top 5 for me hell maybe even top 3.
Analyzing the theory "Supernatural" according to my thoughts and guesses (not necessarily correct) Supernatural - supernatural phenomenon The first scene is the city on a thunderous night. Surely the weather in this city is unstable. Danielle's first song: "Stormy Night" with a TV screen showing the daily weather forecast -> proving that these girls work in weather-related jobs. Next, NewJeans stepped out of the truck. If you pay attention, this vehicle has a transceiver mast, this is a specialized vehicle used to forecast weather in all terrain conditions. So here we can temporarily understand that NewJeans plays the role of a supernatural weather forecasting team. The city is experiencing unexplainable weather phenomena, so NJs has been called to investigate. During the investigation, Haerin encountered a unicorn hybrid zebra (called a zebra unicorn or what???) and was hypnotized by this unicorn (?). Next, Danielle suddenly discovered that her eyes were glowing, electric wires were growing all over her hands, followed by an electrically charged cloud. It seems that supernatural phenomena in this city can transform the people and animals here. In the next part of the MV, we will see the scene of Minji and Hanni having a tense argument on the balcony, Hanni said "I will definitely investigate". Maybe it's because the whole team was called in to deal with supernatural phenomena, but Haerin was hypnotized and Danielle was radioactive. In the teaser for part 2, we can clearly see the image of the rabbit-eared flying saucer getting closer to city, the rabbits all turn towards the flying saucer as if towards the mother planet. MOST SPECIAL: looking across the city, the broadcasting tower has turned into rabbit ears. It seems like alien rabbits have invaded city BUT ATTENTION - WHAT ROLE DOES HYEIN PLAY IN SUPERNATURAL? If you notice from the beginning of the MV, Hyein does NOT interact with any NewJeans members - only interacts with the male character. All scenes with Hyein are either solo or talking and laughing with the male protagonist. Especially at 2:04 - Minji patted the male lead's shoulder to go but completely ignored Hyein??? Is Hyein's character originally an invisible ghost and only the male lead can see it? Hyein is introduced at the beginning of the video as Lee Hyein aka The Bunny - so Hyein and The Bunny are one - but The Bunny's dance scenes also appear and disappear, the same filming set but parts include The Bunny and parts do not. Let me guess here: Hyein is a person from the rabbit planet, casting invisibility spells to blend into the NewJeans reconnaissance squad. Who would have thought that a young man in the NewJeans investigation team would see Hyein and the two sides having a crush on each other. In the back, little Hyein shows her true Super Rabbit form, driving a flying saucer to invade the city. "Supernatural is a song that portrays a message of hope about a destined relationship, that no matter how painful things get, our relationship will last forever!” Guess that's it, the MV part 2 will be released next week and see how it goes. Who knows, maybe this unexpected plot twist will be part 2 of the MV OMG these kids are all mentally imagining it?
OMG You are definitely onto something i think.... when i first saw the video the 'Bunny' (or Hyein i guess ) reminded me a little of 'Frank the Rabbit' from Donnie Darko... I just thought nothing of it at the time. But in that movie only Donnie could see Frank the Rabbit as he was the 'living receiver' (if i remember that term right).... is the dude and Hyein in this a similar situation? Could 'Supernatural' be refering to the supernatural romance between Hyein and the guy possibly? The Lyrics definitely support this as they are singing about a romance being 'supernatural'. Also another reactor pointed out that the dances switch from past to future.. you can see it around 2:15 when they are in 80s stylings then it switches to them wearing modern clothes and holding mobile phones.... woah maybe theres something in this!! cos donnie darko was also a film about time travel :O Also just after the Haerin wearing the Cowboys Jersey if you pause at 3:47 (you have to be quick) you can see a 'ghostly' Looking Hyein sitting to the far left of the screen holding a toy Alien 😯

None of those Members Interact with Hyein aka the bunny throughout the whole video.. it seems only the guy sees her. Even when they are dancing Hyein aka the Bunny shows up and dissapears again continuously. And yeah i noticed how Minji took the guy from Hyein like that but never really pieced it together like that. Im telling you brother, TripleS Girls Never Die is absolute heat. I think Newjeans and TripleS consistently have the best instrumentals in Kpop. Also, a wild MV is XXL by young posse. Not the biggest fan of the song itself, but the MV is batshit insane.

NewJeans Minji, Dani, Hanni, Haerin and the 'guy' are paranormal phenomena investigators... investigating the strange goings on in the city.. the odd weather.. the UFO.. the Zebra Unicorn.. they get out of a Van at the start that literally has 'supernatural' written as a logo on it and its laden with weird devices on top (like the ghostbusters ambulance car thing had as well).
None of those Members Interact with Hyein aka the bunny throughout the whole video.. it seems only the guy sees her. Minji comes to get the guy in a sort of lets go motion but it seems she doesnt see or realise Hyein is there.
Even when they are dancing Hyein aka the Bunny shows up and dissapears again continuously. The bunny reminds me of Frank the Rabbit (a supernatural being) from Donnie Darko.. in that film only Donnie could see frank the rabbit... much like it seems only the guy can see Hyein in this... the lyrics suggest it might be about a 'supernatural' relationship between the boy and hyein. The dancing scenes also flip from 80s looking to current modern times with them wearing current clothing holding smartphones 2:15. Donnie Darko was also about time travel. Theres a scene if you pause quickly where Hyein is sitting to left of the screen looking ghostly holding an alien toy 3:47 (its at the bit with haerin in the dallas cowboys shirt.. shes sitting next to her on the left). Its probable Hyein is the Alien from the UFO and the bunny is her real form.. with Hyein being her human disguise that for some reason only the boy can see.... thats all i got till we see part 2 :P
And that bobby brown song.. dude that was the first album i bought (on cassette tape) ever growing up i musta been like 12... my perogative, every little step, roni, dont be cruel.. that was such a good album!!
omg i just had another thought.... they always follow a para-social thing in these lore videos right? if its true that no one sees hyein except her 'love interest' maybe he represents us bunnies symbolising that us bunnies will always think of and see Hyein even whilst the other 4 are performing without her like at present ... i mean hes literally just focusing on her and talking to her outside whilst the other 4 are performing right next to them inside :0.. and if the girls dont see hyein hyien bunny performing with them.. we the bunnies/viewers do see her.. omg i am a genius..i sussed it lol
@@jaynadiah5498 Dude i think ur a genius. Ive never watched Donnie Darko (heard of it only) but ive seen the bunny from it and damn it looks so similar to the one in this vid. They couldve gone with a cuter looking bunny costume but instead its this one and it resembles donnie darko so much (not as deformed of a face of course but still something a little weird abt it). And yeah i noticed how Minji took the guy from Hyein like that but never really pieced it together like that. I like the idea of Hyein being some type of alien, makes a lot of sense watching the video multiple times

Im telling you brother, TripleS Girls Never Die is absolute heat. I think Newjeans and TripleS consistently have the best instrumentals in Kpop. Also, a wild MV is XXL by young posse. Not the biggest fan of the song itself, but the MV is batshit insane.

the how sweet album is especially nice imo. it has a HUGE photobook. they're selling it at target and walmart. and online obviously
that actually pisses me off because over here in the uk no stores sell the albums/eps... you have to buy them online... and EVERY online retailer sends you a 'random' one... i really wanted to get either a 'Haerin' one or one with the whole group.. but its puts me off buyig them because i am not guaranteed to get the one i want... sorry... not a go at them more a go at how UK sees kpop at not very important :(... if im spending 30 quid give me what i want.. not a 2 in 5 chance lol... not gonna even bother because of that shit
