I"m Scottish and, even though I don't support Dundee Utd, I respected JM as a man & for everything he did for Scottish football; what he achieved with Dundee Utd was incredible. He's a legend that will never ever be forgotten in our country. I played football a lot as a young kid in the 80s and Dundee Utd were a force to be reckoned with at that particular time (they were in the 'big 4' of Scottish football during that era, alongside Aberdeen, Celtic & Rangers). RIP, Jim.
She reminds me of one of those lady criminal psychologists (or male) you get in crime documentaries who always point out the obvious and think they're telling you something you don't already know or have considered but don't agree with.
Dundee FC man through and through and have been for at least 40 years but Jim Mclean will always be a legend. And Jim Mclean didn't lose any respect sweetie. Quite the opposite.
Wasn’t the first time he’s did it either , as I’m sure he head butted a journalist at Edinburgh Airport in late 80s when United were playing a European game. Greatest manager we’ve ever had
Reporter basically asks - when are you sacking your manager? Disrepectful af, that's a man with a family, kids and a mortgage - I wish everyone had a boss who had your back like this guy did.
Top manager, excellent right hook.....if you wind him up too much, accept the consequences! Jim McLean rip, you took our small cornershop club to Scottish and European glory.
The comments here are class, she Probably angrily lobbed her copy of the gaurdian at the living room curtains after reading them "ohhhhhh fiddlesticks!!!!" (fists shaking)
Lost respect? Jim gain respect from that and was already a legend.
Nah he's weak as hell hitting someone for asking a question.
Beta boys lose it over a question.
@@markob53A lesson in how to conduct yourself from the BBC ?.... The BBC !!!!!

Wonder how many games she managed?
Jim already told him; so really it's the reporter who should have been better prepared; maybe some riot gear? Yes, learn how to prepare better...

Learning that this woman worked in preschools all her life would explain the state of the world.
Should have just said, we'll circle back to that.
Respect to Jim.
Yeah, because none of us have never felt like punching someone else have we?
Media should be more responsible, who do you think you are ? God ?
They think cause they are the chosen ones they can do what they want
( jews )
If you can't control yourself what can you control?
None of what that lady has said is true.
I don’t wish to comment on that, goodbye. Have a nice day.
What punch?
What a don
No matter how irritating some people are,it's still no excuse to put your hands on someone.
Unless he’s a racist.
That's why I got out of journalism. Too many big shots were taking swings at me.
Nae bother captain hindsight
Kweet to the contrary....it went very well for the football exec...but very BUDLY foor the reporter 😂
Wrong!
Oh you smug woman. It's your reporter who needs to think about interview technique and to not be confrontational and abrasive. !-0 to Jim.
No reason to assault someone. Get your mind right.
Jumped up wee bully.
Exactly. Can't understand all the love for him here. Shat it off Dunc's dad.
A typically dour and miserable Scot, but a great manager
He gained respect you silly cow
More like, think about what questions you are going to put to who ... 😂
