We are going there in 2 weeks. Beautiful hotel, this is our 3rd time there. It is worth the money. WiFi great, super clean.

I just paid $3200 Canadian for two people. We leave in early April. I think that is a great price.

is there coral at the beach? if so how much, do you need water shoes?

Yes, but in small patches. You can easily just move over and avoid it. I would say no for the water shoes.

Looks pleasant enough, but not worth the price they are charging. A couple of nicer options in that area for much cheaper.
