Youre amazing for still listening in 2024 and for anyone that has actually been on this beach. This song hits different 🤙🏽
This song and movie reminds me of better and much simpler times. Hate that I wish I could go back.
Same same. I’m 34 now. And this has always been my fav star gazing song for years
Dito
Better times for sure. Visiting Thai and this beach was a dream come true
My absolute fav song to stargaze to. Sucks it’s not on Apple Music. Love this song for life. As I used to have beach bonfires in Pennsylvania off Lake Erie with a group of friends. Some, especially the best one, who isn’t alive anymore. Song reminds me of those great times together on the sand and the stars. Sense of wonder. Curisity. Never thought those days would end
Yes, it sucks this version is not available on Apple Music. It is available on Spotify, but even better, the original by Brian Eno is available on Apple Music.
Awwww Richard lol ... I used to watch this movie constantly with xgf... good times ) ... thanks for the memories )
This was an incredible movie. Just got done watching for the first time and I really liked it.
Yes it is a wonderful movie and AWESOME tune and that beach was totally taken out with that mad wave that destroyed that peace of peaceful place.many years ago..
Beautiful times. 😎
Beautiful video ❤️
2022 anyone hear 🏖️🌅
2023 hear for life! Should try to download this somehow as someday it might be a memory. Hard to find this song
😢❤
Live a good life 🧬⭐
А этот фильм смотрел в кинотеатре в городе Одесса-Украина!!!в 2000г!!Мне счас 49 лет я плачу!!!
Huh! Apparently I have to give credit to SR for this cover, first time hearing it, but it's an amazing piece of Eno!
Yeah. Sooo much better than original version by far. Sucks it’s not on Apple Music. Used to have this song downloaded from Napster and lost it
One of the most beautiful pop melodies of all time by Mr Brian Eno!
Great edit!
💗💗💗
Still looking for the Sugar Ray movie (the beach) version. They used the exact John Cale Brian Eno lyrics (And now, as the pale moon rides...). This is the shortened Soundtrack version. Anybody know where I could get it?
Good ear, you're right, this isn't the version used in the movie. I couldn't find it either. If you do end up locating it, I would appreciate it if you could let me know, if you remember. Thanks for the comment!
@@Halfmoonbaystudios Oh wow. That stinks. Thanks for the reply. Shame they just tossed the master recording in the trash somewhere years ago. Oh well.
hello !! I'm also looking for the version that appears in the movie and I can't find it anywhere, it's too beautiful!! If someone sees this message one day and manages to get it, please tell me here! since I have been looking for it for years
@@marialeluligsr8721years!??? Wow. Yeah this is one of my all time fav songs too. I thought this was original version. I wonder why they didn’t get rights properly or sued or something cause this sugar Ray version isn’t on Apple Music
@@marialeluligsr8721 I have also been looking for that movie version for years! If anyone locates it let me know. I’ll do the same.
3:34 Tidus and Yuna.
What does that mean?
@@loganstroganoff1284 - Gamer reference, FF10. The imagery.
The original tune by Brian Eno and John Cale is definitely superior to this version. Check it out some time.
True, but hats off to Sugar Ray for showing their taste. Nice tribute.
They're both great. This sugar ray version is tied to my youth. So it wins in my universe. I'm thankful for both
