Hello I got the clutch from Muffs Motorsports off of EBay. They sent me a business card 401-315-2500 Ashaway, Rhode Island www.muffsmotorsports.com Hope that helps 👍
Hey man idk if ur gonna see this but I have the same grizzly and it’s making a scraping noise around the right rear wheel and I’m pretty sure it’s the bearing bc it’s been replaced before I got it any chance u had the same problem?
I'm not too sure but my guess would be to check the brake drum. Maybe jack it up and wiggle that axle to see if there's play in it. Does it just scrape when you drive it or also when it's just sitting idle?
One more question did you ever run it without the cover off and if you did at idle did the sheaves spin? I just replaced my wet clutch and am having the issue where I go into reverse and I’m moving without any throttle at all. Any idea what might be going on?
No I didn't run it with the side case off, but I had a similar issue and that would be the one way bearing is backwards. I accidentally put mine in backwards and it seemed to be jumpy without any throttle so I still drove it but it spun my new wet clutch apart. So I had to get a new one way bearing and take what was left of the wet clutch and a spare wet clutch and build my own. After that it was fine and ran great.
How u know you need a new one. I know my grizzly now when you punch it itll hang for a quick second and make a quick squeel it may be a belt issue or clutch im sure its stock gear and needs replacing
How I knew my wet clutch was bad, I was dragging a rock and it felt like my belt was bad so I took my side case off. The belt was a slight bit wore but knowing the bike is a 98 I went farther and glad I did cause the wet clutch was down to the metal. Changing it was night and day with amount of power I got back. Also put a new belt on while I was in there. I would say you're gonna have to tear it apart. 98-2000 wet clutch will work. Good luck man!
I got the same one a 98 grizzly 600 it is green mine will not hold it s back gonig done hill it is like it kicks out of gear I got to hold the brake not s w it might be wrong w it

@@wheelssqueals when i idle and when i drive slow around 1-10 kmph.
What size was the nut on that holds the wet clutch on?
Hey it was a 24mm or 15/16.
