- What is the biggest difference between a WR450F & a WR250R when hitting the trails? The mighty 450 easily out powers the 250R...but is less more?!

agreed mate some times less is more , i ride sooo much better (more confidence ) on the TTR250 than i ever could on the DR650 😁👍dont have to worry about whisky throttle on the smaller bikes 🤣🤣

I've never owned a WR250F, always had my WRR. I have ridden a few though, & ridden with boys that own them! Clearly they are heaps lighter & have way better suspension!! I have noticed they stall a lot & have witnessed the batteries going dead on quite a lot of occasions!!
I guess my WRR is built a lot tougher, which is great for me as I'm always crashing it!!🤣🤣🤣🤣

Thanks Jas! I did ask him how much he had & he reckons he was running 15psi. He had the same front tyre as me but was running a Scorpion rear!

Hey Wayne - Love your channel! Helps get a fella thru a brutal Canadian winter when his own WR is in the garage hiding from the arctic blast. Hey have you posted somewhere what exactly your suspension work was that you had done? Would be very interested to hear about it.
That's a tough one! I know my front had upgraded springs & the service included re-valving, the rear wasn't changed much, just re-valving and the shock stem was shortened. My suspension guru explained that the WR is a little too high in the rear which makes them a little jumpy!

I'm more interested in how you get to the trails and how far you go to do all the trails.. Are people trailering these bikes or are you only an hour from home?
I'm only 20 minutes or so from these trails in Ourimbah & Watagan state forest, however most of the guys I ride with do trailer their bikes here.
