This generation doomed the financial future of today’s kids in this country. Important to remember, and for the keyboard warriors, it has nothing to do with the valor demonstrated.
Great historic WWII stories of our brave courageous Military men and women. ***Please consider adding photographs of this great man during his time in the Service so they won't be lost to time.
He explains he dug his survival trough just enough in haste to keep his head just barely under grade level, under sudden artillery shelling (sometimes they call this shallow entrenchment a "hole" though it was often just a trough to lay low into). He later recants again in more detail that his lower 2/3 of left leg is such at an blown apart and sideways that he couldn't see it in a linear line looking downwards. He couldn't see his lower left leg because it was blown right-angled sideways over his right leg. He has to kick his nearly dismembered lower left leg back off his right leg it was laying across over to it's original side. He very, very carefully remembers his lost friend Zeke.
I appreciate the testimonies of these brave veterans. So many were lost and so many had to make such sacrifices. I’m 70 year old, not a veteran, but am so interested in the history and the stories they tell. Thanks to this channel and many others for preserving the testimonies. My family lost a great uncle, Everett H. Glenn, killed in action January 3, 1944 near mount porchia in Italy. I have researched his records and made a tribute to his memory.
The most shocking part is that they were kids - yes soldiers need to be fit and young but these boys were just 18 years old and sent to something so enormously difficult and dangerous than any training would have prepared them for 😢 heroes. Our generations will never be as resilient as they were men and women.❤
The people of your generation are much more genuine and honest than the snowflakes in charge of UA-cam , that’s for sure. Thanks for your service and sacrifice.
There’s nothing more captivating on the entire internet than listening to these brave men tell us what happened to them.
For the rest of my natural life I will remain awed by your service and sacrifice, Sir. God bless you and all who served with you.
This generation was honest, patriotic, and raised generations of good people. We were so honored to have them in our lives.

Vote Trump!, America's BRAVEST!
True, and very few are left. In my own family we lost our last 2 veterans within days of each other, both at 99. Australian and Irish, both my uncle's

I have seen the D Day crosses & stars of David row on on row!
Im not saying it happened on this occasion but many vets mistook "normal" panzers for the famed Tiger and King Tiger.
