For a beginner, how long to learn the basic flight of these crafts let alone the other aspects like this video?
Depends on how much time you fly and how into it you are and how much your understanding is already at. I love fighter jets so I spent a lot of free time on it usually an hour or 2 a day. I'd say about a month at that rate to be able to drop dumb bombs accurately and understand how to fly land well and employ basic air to air modes and countermeasures for self defense.

For JDAM on a waypoint yeah PP is TOO mode more or less.
Nice video, but with the last update of DCS it's impossible to setup Air to Groud and all the differents options, pb Air is inactiv.

I just tried the jdams with the viper using a TGP but they're very innacurate as opposed to the ones the f18 carries, is this because they're still being developed?
there shouldnt be any difference, both the F-16 and F-18 should be able to hit precisely within a 10ft radius, which is as accurate as GPS tends to be. Make sure the JDAMS are completely aligned before you drop them!

Great vid.. Quick question if I may please? If re-arm JDAMS once mission starts on ground ( re-arming screen) I power up and the JDAM alignment doesnt display the get the 'RDY' message until I go gear up, is this correct? I get the alignment countdown after powering up, then blank until I take off . But If I start the mission already loaded I get no countdown just 'RDY' after powering up ( even when on the ground) . Is this normal behavior please? PS the weapons actually work fine in all cases.

What's the max distance between spi's before you can't drop on each one straight away after each other like you did CAP?
Complex Q as it depends is they are laid out in a line or in a random spread, ALSO depends on our airspeed and altitude so not sure there is an answer to this?

You might have the stable version instead of the beta version. If you play on Steam choose the open beta option. If you play on Standalone download the open beta version.

I’ve been using AIR instead of GRD, I noticed when my bomb impacts there’s no explosion. Assuming this is the fix?

Air isnt implemented yet, thats why your bombs are not exploding. When implemented, the jdam will explode at a pre definded height above ground

How do you make a steer point with just the TPOD? Like a A-10. Also only getting the option to put two of them on. Feel like i should be able to carry 4 at least.
