every AC (banking) job i've done, over the past 10+ years, there were always certain women who would come in late and leave early all the time, the men, rarely did that if at all. As a blue collar worker I can tell you men bitch and moan too. Maybe it’s just at my job but I often think it’s like working with women. However I’m am 10+ years older than them so maybe their age has something to do with it.
because they are greedy ingrates any argument that gets more goodies for princess was going to be instantly heard its like the blacks with their "white man keeping me down" BS lol
My ex-wife once went to a manufacturing plant in Mexico to review their accounting systems for a potential sale of the company. The plant manager told her, "Oh once we hired only women. But they kept getting pregnant so we fired them all and now only hire men."
The men had a girlfriend that spent money, so they needed the overtime. The women spent their man's money, so they didn't need the overtime. That dynamic is changing.
DEI; Yellow does not get the question - she is repeating the narrative; In the military, men/women get paid the same, and starting with their physical training test, the women's PT test is much easier, that extends to their jobs

Women are masters in arguing the exceptions to the rule and whataboutisms. They will say “i know a girl that works construction! She’s a big tough badass bitch!”
It’s like that meme of the bell curve, and then the outlier way off in the distance is circled in red and it says “well how do you explain the fact that this point exists? YOU CAN’T” 😆

As Andrew stated, If there truly was a wage gap, businesses would never hire another man again unless they had to, because companies will almost always default to cheaper labor if they can get away with it. I swear it is always the women who end their sentences with an upward inflection in their voice that say this crap.
WRONG GENIUS they might initially [so never agin is wrong lol] after a few weeks or days even the loss of productivity and lawsuits would be way worse then the hit of just hiring men you people think your so clever and tow the same argument Andrew is wrong here and so are you
@@Correction-zl2oe If what you are saying is true, women should then be paid less because they are less productive. Which would then give companies the economical choice of Low pay=low productivity (woman) or high productivity=higher wages (men).
No, it would not work like that. If there would be really a wage gap, it would be based on a asumption/perceprtion that men are better workers. There are always different factor than just price. Women would have to ask for a lower wage to compete with men so it would not remove wage gap. Also job market is not working like that, asking for less money that they have funds for is not give a leverage. But it not how it is. Wage gap was disprooven.
Check out Iceland where the women all went on strike and the biggest effect was HR departments had NO WORK to do because there were no complaints. Many Male CEO's said that on the day they actually produced more with their all male staff. Good reason not to employ women. That of course ignores the false accusations against men often through jealousy or hurt feelings because HE was NOT into You.
In my time as an operations manager, I also saw a common thread when hiring new employees- women were less likely to negotiate their wages. I have a budget to balance and initially offer a pay on the lower side of the range the candidate is looking for so I have room to negotiate. It gives me a chance to test your people skills, negotiation skills, confidence, and, if applicable, sales skills. NEVER be afraid to ask for more money if you get to that part of the interview! Have a bottom line figure for what you can accept, don’t go below that, and look at anything you get above that as a solid win.
My wife has been a senior exec for 30+ years and now owns her own business. She refuses to hire women because all the reasons presented here plus they are lazy and won't work as hard.
My older cousin who lives in Texas used to own 3 botox clinics. He said that all the employees were women. And, they argue and fight so much that he decided to sell all of the businesses bc he couldn't take it anymore. Now, he owns an insurance company with no employees.

The young lady in the yellow tank top is ridiculous. She's relatively young, yet chooses to be out of shape and overweight and cover herself with tattoos. 100% stay away!
I worked on a construction site where we started work at 6am and finished at 6pm… cold, hard, gruelling work. We got through the day by joking and making fun of one another, constantly. It was hilarious. Physically and emotionally, no woman could handle it. I also worked in an office with plenty of female co-workers. The backstabbing, passive aggressiveness, gossip, complaining and other BS was unbearable.
That’s how us guys are. Add a woman to that situation and either A) the men won’t joke with the woman the same way so she complains to HR that’s she’s being treated differently for being a female…..or B) the guys treat the woman like one of the guys and she complains to HR that they are making fun of her and treating her bad because she’s a female. No winning in that situation.

My sister owns a clinic and she hired all women. And after awhile she keeps having to deal with their drama. I heard her talking to her employee on the phone trying to solve a dispute. I told her, you are their BOSS, not their BFF. Tell them to stfu and get some work done. It was like a 8pm drama TV show. She will not have these problems if she hired male staff.
2:38 "YOU TELL ME!" is CODE for "i have NO Idea wtf i'm talking about, have zero idea about reality, have never learned anything about the real world and need someone with the actual facts that prove me wrong to tell me i'm right!"
LOL, she claims it's common knowledge that women get paid less, yet can't articulate why every company is not all-female to save money on wage costs. Idiots.
Around 17 min, when Andrew addresses clerical office work versus construction world reminded me of a story- When I used to sell roofs and solar panel systems for commercial clients (HIGH ticket sales- huge commissions) we had a beautiful, blonde woman who broke sales records every month. When we asked her “how do you get so many sales appointments” Her entire strategy- “I go to their office and ask them if they want to get lunch, dinner, or drinks with me”. She also dressed the part- tight clothing, low cut cleavage, flirting with them openly, etc. That was literally it. Be a hot blonde woman and ask the decision maker out. Now it also probably helped that she had a “friendly” reputation for these men… but when commissions were $10k+ per sale, she could make 6 figures in a month without any real effort. Women live life on Easy mode for most work that isn’t manual labor
@@ExtraCheese666 Actually I have seen 1 who was very good. Also one who daily crashed into things. Men also crash or have accidents, but they are IMO and experience few and far between.
They could be paid 2, 3, 10x more than men and have all the jobs, and they'd still whine that they get paid less. It's dealing with very irrational and delusional people here.
He should have brought up the Google example, where they found women were actually being paid 20% more for exactly the same job title, experience, qualifications etc, and had to cough up a few tens or hundreds of millions to the men who were underpaid. The last time women were paid less for exactly the same job title, experience, etc, was in the 1960s (in the USA anyway), for the very reason its illegal and the few companies who tried to get away with it in the 60s were fined large amounts of money so none have dared even think about it since then. (well there is probably a few edge cases, but certainly not within the majority of companies).
@@thomasheuer1916 Even if it were per hour, men still earn more on average because they do more difficult, dangerous, and/or dirty jobs which obviously pay a premium.
I'm a male who retired from a 30 year career in nursing, which is 88% women. I stuck with it because I loved the work and it was financially rewarding for myself and my family. But the worst aspect was the interpersonal relationships and tensions created by a majority female staff and leadership. Constant infighting, cattiness, vindictiveness, emotionality were things that had to be dealt with in an environment that demanded professionalism. Being a male, I was spared a lot of the direct impact but I still had to deal with the offshoots of it. It just took what could have been something much more satisfying and made it unbearable sometimes.
The fact that women were fooled with such a simple trick of leaving out factors, and STILL have trouble with it after it has been explained over and over and over...for years and years... This inability to grasp such basic things just might have something to do with you getting paid less.
@@pigknickers2975 Well, that is very likely due to your job type. I work at a software company, that has only 1200 clients, but there are many Fortune 100 clients (ATT, Wells Fargo, Dell, Mastercard, Vanguard, Blackrock... etc). My dept is in client support, and are about 40% women. And out of the top 5 best (smartest, most capable), 2 are women. So the field is very relevant. And in case you are wondering, our software minimum price/package, is just under $100,000 per install. So I am not talking about Windows.
You could pay an average man $20 to carry a washing machine up a flight of stairs. It would take at least four average women to do the same job so divide that $20 among them - $5 each. There's your 'pay gap'.
I used to work in a factory that made tools i ran 5 machines to their [women] one or two it was 120 degrees and i was wearing 3 sweaters every day im an even more extreme exception [i once bought a lat pull down machine after work put a rope around it and carried it home on my back a mile it weighed several hundred pounds lol] most men do wayyyyyy more then most women i can do way way more but the average can do way more i have a million stories
To be fair, it's quite literally the single easiest argument to debate against. I could teach a 7 year old how to win this debate against a women's studies professor at Harvard.
Let's not pretend winning a debate against women of this caliber is a big W. Most of them have the IQ, attention span, and debating skills of a pigeon. All they do is spout platitudes they were told, they have no real arguments. When presented with the logical rebuttal they just stare blankly into space, and let's be honest, they don't really understand what they're being told, and will in all likelihood leave saying exactly the same in the end.
They still never heard a word tho. They'll leave with the same thoughts. Nothing between their ears. Life on easy mode so they have nothing but time to spout nonsense
I've worked my ass off the past 35 years. My wife has a rotating day off per week. She had the opportunity to go full time but she dined it cause she likes her day off. After retiring from a 20 year career the only reason I made more money than the Women I worked with was because I averaged working 58 to 62 hours a week while the ladies hardly worked any overtime.
What she is referring to is a “earnings gap” not a wage gap. It has been illegal for 60 years to pay women a different wage. Women on average EARN less than men due to many factors like hours worked, experience, and time off just to name a few

The point of women overspending never occurred to her until I just said it. Of course she's the type to drive a letter to someone in person because f paying all those cents for stamps, we need that money to buy more SCHD.

I worked as a field service engineer and there are zero women in my line of job. They don’t like traveling and picking up equipment that weight 100lbs.
I worked for a small/medium size marketing company, we lost our two biggest clients and the company went bankrupt. The men went off to find new jobs and the women went off to sue the owners of the company (Like alimony).
Uhh, that's kinda stupid to try and sue the owners of a bankrupt business. If the owners were remotely explained anything by an accountant or lawyer, it'd have been incorporated as an LLC or other structure. So waste of time and money on the womens part!
When you think about it, everything started to go down the drain when they started to vote. Men at the time did not realize it because the slope was really timid. But only now, 150 years later can witness men the unstoppable momentum that giant boulder have gathered, and then wonders "How did that happened??".
This is one of the reasons why employees should share what they earn. Most people don't want to let people know what they make. It only hurts you. I've worked in sales. We have a culture of sharing our earnings with one another, and guess what? We continue to get paid more because of it. I had a coworker who had a base salary of $70k. Mine, at the time, was $110k. I informed them and they went to our bosses. Guess what? They didnt want to lost that employee. They gave them the $40k pay rase. That employee went from making $210k per year to $250k that year. Sharing helps every employee.

He's giggling and asking why it shouldn't be legal for employers to discriminate against women on the basis of them being women and asking what's wrong with it. Just look at 7:19, that's not how you debunk it, that's how you reinforce the beliefs held by those you're arguing. Wonder how he'd feel if it was legal to actively discriminate and ruin the career of every man because they're men. Apparently he's got no issue with it..if it happens to women.
Nah man. You missed some shit. They were perfectly justified when they were using numbers and providing data. They went COMPLETELY off the rail and started acting EXACTLY as the women were describing when they talk about the patriarchy. The moment they started justifying NOT hiring women, based on their absolutely sexist views of women, any one of these women could have just looked at him and say "this is the patriarchy. Right here. Men like you don't hire women for the beliefs you're espousing. They are putting into practice exactly what you're saying here. THAT is the patriarchy." This dudes an absolute CLOWN. It's not immoral to discriminate against individuals based on their physical characteristic? Really? This dude just defended anti-semitism. He just defended racism. He's a shit

I find Andrew to be quite/very condescending a lot of the time -- but damn - that crossing the road analogy was spot on and PERFECT. What these women need to understand is that a man is also likely to cross the street as well
We have a saying in our country, "Put 20 unrelated married men in the same home, they will cooperate without arguments. Put 2 unrelated married women in the same home, the whole village will know of their arguments."
I work for a telecom company. I work a job where you travel to a different location every day, an irregular schedule, and short shift changes. My company has a bias towards hiring women and he union enforces it. NO women apply to do my job. Instead, they prefer desk jobs in front of a computer.
Businesses don't want drama. If one Gender brings more emotional drama to work then it should be ok to not want that Gender. Cause the business comes first not your feelings.
I worked at a bakery in a grocery store. Any time anyone called in they called me. Anyone that needed to trade a day off they called me. I did the grunt work that nobody wanted to do, the closing shift. I worked alone and had to run the bakery myself. I was doing the work of an assistant with ordering the thing we were out of and unloading trucks. I asked the store director if there was a chance I could be the assistant(only $2 difference)He told me no because I didn't have a vehicle at the time. I didn't get upset or argue I completely understood. 2 weeks later he hired a manager in dairy that didn't have a vehicle. The only difference was he was male. I didn't have any children, and actually preferred to be at work than home. Something's are unfair, that's just life.
For that you could file for discrimination possibly, you'd have to know what the new manager of the dairy section has knowledge/experience in that case. You know the bakery, though quite a few of those skills should be transferable like ordering.
I own a lawn care company. When it was first starting out i was introduced through friends to a woman i later discovered was unemployed and picking up casual work for day pay. I needed a hand with my route so i offered her work. She arrived to the pickup spot in a bikini top and short shorts, seemed displeased that i wanted her to wear a uniform shirt, and work extremely small pair of shorts. Not really work ready but it's just yard chores and i have grace for people in a tough spot because I've been there. Then she told me she didn't know how to start the mower, so as im showing her she gets in close as if to see where i was pointing and positioned herself so that when i stood up she could lock eyes with me, give me a smile while my arm found itself between her breasts. She was an attractive woman, but because i am in a work environment for my own business, All i could do to keep my business safe is step away, clear my throat, and tell her i could pull the cord if she holds the bar down to keep it running... She was attracted to me and letting me know. But the law prevented me from being a human being without being at risk. I could tell she felt rejected too, and the rules didn't work in her favor or mine. What i find weird is how women insist they are equal but also insist that they be treated gently and "protected" as if they are too fragile to staff up to a loser coworker that doesn't get the hint. He, and every man who is worried they will come off creepy, is nowv prevented from making the first move. And that includes the men a woman actually wants to approach her. Because the delicate flowers need to be treated like "equals" instead of recognizing reality
Women want the best of both worlds. They want to be able to get men like you, but never have to deal with men they don't like. They do not understand that it is an open-door kind of thing.
In college I worked at McDonald's and I was the only male manager in a team of otherwise women managers. I had on multiple occasions had each of the women tell me they preferred working with me over any of the other women because there was no drama on my shifts. EVERY. SINGLE. ONE. They would constantly argue with each other and backstab. I was just there to do work, they were there to start shit with each other. Andrew nailed this.
It's actually moral to have a bias. Bias is protected under freedom of association. That's why discrimination law is actually wrong. I would apply discrimination laws only to governments and orgs like the U.N. and it's NGOs.
I remember a clip where a Women CEO explains how she believed in the wage gap, tried to hire all female workers, and ended up having to hire all men because of how lazy the women employees were
Even without the complaint factor, the firm employing all women is a far more risky enterprise to run. Some (probably not an insignificant amount) will get pregnant. Labor laws will require you to provide maternity leave and hold those positions until they return or decide to leave. I once explained this to a female MBA friend and she almost started crying when she realized the truth. It astonishes me how few people have ever thought the slightest bit critically about these things.
Yeah, the odds of a 25 year old male employee having an unplanned 12 week absence from work are pretty slim. The same is not true of a 25 year old female employee.
In Iceland women went on strike for one day. Mens productivity increased drastically. Also there were no HR complaints filed. Do you think that is why Companies are beginning not to hire women? As the over all cost are too high? As Having to have an HR department takes a company's earnings away from higher wages. As it cost money to have to process all those complaints. Which all to often are found to be baseless.
I agree with everything except for the part where Andrew says there's nothing wrong with paying women less for the same work. It seems immoral not to pay according to merit, but just feelings. Nothing immoral about not wanting to hire women, but not paying for the same exact work is clear discrimination solely on gender. This is assuming that women are doing the same exact work as men.
Well seeing as how society always expects men to sacrifice themselves for women when crap hits the fan i say it evens out if you choose not to pay the same even on merit

wow, by the time you've got your wife down to the building site to prove how tough that work is , well its so over. Imagine her arrogance. Damn what a story.
The whole argument about not hiring women because they cost too many problems and it can be a pain in the ass for the business, is completely totally right and believable cuz there's businesses right now that refuse to hire Gen z especially college educated ones and even on top of that even if you're not Gen z if your college educated a lot of businesses are avoiding because of how big of a pain in the ass and entitled they are.
If I was running a business and hiring men or women, if I had to chose the rare RARE chance that a woman complains about harassment vs literally a zero chance of a man doing the same, why would I willingly take on that uncertainty and burden? I want things to run smoothly and conflict of ANY kind ust interrupts things.
All I can say is great job for keeping this up. It feels you're going to work every day against people convinced by sentiment without clear knowledge or facts. It's like debating against a cult on a daily basis

One thing I learned in college from my Geology teacher shockingly was that statistics can be made to benefit one side when data isn’t show. Gave a graph of energy use by source in America a year for two years in a three year period. The graph showed the recent year had fossil fuels usage went down and green energy went up. My teacher asked us what was the take away and most of us said America invested more in green energy and restricted non renewable sources. My teacher said we’re all wrong, then explained that the energy usage between the two types of energy hadn’t decreased and only increased without much change, but then said that the graph didn’t take in account population growth and how more people equaled more energy usage and the fossil fuels data went down due to decrease in availability I believe if I remember correct. But my Geology teacher showed me to never believe stats without looking deeper such as with the pay gap idea.
I read an article a couple years ago about a woman that started a marketing company with just women. The catty BS they did caused the company to fail in less then 3 years.

She’s a woman so she should up the mantle as a sister of womanhood to stand up to injustice with compassion… right? How come they don’t ? And don’t say it’s because of a man because that’s BS! Those woman are in power to change the game, but don’t.” That should be an interesting question to ask with reaction.

When I used to sell roofs and solar panel systems for commercial clients (HIGH ticket sales- huge commissions) we had a beautiful, blonde woman who broke sales records every month. When we asked her “how do you get so many sales appointments”
Her entire strategy- “I go to their office and ask them if they want to get lunch, dinner, or drinks with me”.

For that you could file for discrimination possibly, you'd have to know what the new manager of the dairy section has knowledge/experience in that case. You know the bakery, though quite a few of those skills should be transferable like ordering.
Why was having a vehicle relevant to running a bakery? Obviously you found a way to get to your job...😣
I remember a clip where a Women CEO explains how she believed in the wage gap, tried to hire all female workers, and ended up having to hire all men because of how lazy the women employees were
i dont think ive ever been so disgusted by a woman saying she just came , that was vile
My mom worked in an all women work force and hated it because they were all constantly complaining.
1:07 Andrew waiting to strike. Amazing. Its like watching a tornado building up.
My ex wife used to constantly moan on about i don't lift my weight like she does. I finally got tired of the bs and demanded she come down to my building site. Early On the third day she jumped in the cab of the truck and refused to get out as she had a splinter in her palm and she believed her body was damaged as ached so much. I said welcome to my daily life. She stopped nagging for only 6 weeks.
it be hilarious if husbands and wives could switch jobs a few days it be like that episode of "everybody hates Chris" where terry crews his dad is out of work a little while and is way better a homemaker then his wife lol ladies you already get way more then you deserve
😂😂😂 the fact that you were able to keep track of the full length of how Long the non-nagging lasted.
@@jgibson8092 it was bliss. It started again the day before her parents arrived for her birthday and i didn't stop ever again.
wow, by the time you've got your wife down to the building site to prove how tough that work is , well its so over. Imagine her arrogance. Damn what a story.
This was very thoughtful. Well done
“What about an executive?” - that’s the problem, they don’t want to be brick layers they all want to be our boss.
It's no coincidence that the main thing they're worried about is "power".
His crossing the street analogy was so fitting in this case!
I really enjoyed this discussion. 👍
All I can say is great job for keeping this up. It feels you're going to work every day against people convinced by sentiment without clear knowledge or facts. It's like debating against a cult on a daily basis
At this point, imma say this that I only watch these videos to watch Andrew debate. he's too good 👌🏻
I really like watching andrew on this podcast. Very smart. Very coherent, valid points. Easy to follow along with. I had never heard of him before seeing him on here. I'm a fan.
My first job years ago I worked in an office with all women and they ran me out within a month. I couldn’t handle it. Was getting migraines and anxiety attacks daily. All I did was talk sweet to a co workers toddler son saying the usual things people say say to cute babies and these vicious women turned something innocent into me wanting to DATE this little child etc. etc use your imagination. It was SICK!
I love Brian’s “hmmph”s of acknowledgment 😂
He got her with the walking across the street analogy! hahaha 🤣
The lights are on but no one is home...
The catty BS they did caused the company to fail in less then 3 years.
employees agreed to work for the amount of money but it's the employer's fault that amount wasn't more????😂😂😂😂😂😂
You should ask these women and women of this type of belief system this question: IF a woman is in a leadership role in a company or owns her own company, (and there are plenty today than ever before). and she has control of salary, why doesn’t she see to it that woman get paid more than men? She’s a woman so she should up the mantle as a sister of womanhood to stand up to injustice with compassion… right? How come they don’t ? And don’t say it’s because of a man because that’s BS! Those woman are in power to change the game, but don’t.”
That should be an interesting question to ask with reaction.
And companies have already caught on to this.
Men and women get paid the same where i work. And i can confirm that the women work about 65% less than the men! Its total bs.
