I like so many different styles of music, it actually gets a bit confusing sometimes, but this kind of stuff was my first real love as an early-80s teen and it will never leave me. Does my heart good to see that so many bands are still going strong.
All good. Also worth checking out: the Apostles, Icons of Filth, Amebix, Rubella Ballet, Lost Cherees, The Astronaughts, Hagar the Womb & Flowers in the Dustbin.
Also don’t forget Stalag 17, Blyth Power, Icon AD, Instigators, Classified Protest, Direkt Attack, Hagar the Womb, Mania, Flowers in the Dustbin, Anhrefn, A-Heads, Anathema, Awake Mankind, Chron Gen & so many more

one of the best underrated band to come out of the anarchist scene, is this a future is one of the best ep's ever! awesome stuff, pity they didn't make more albums and stuff.
Blew my mind apart , when got it in me hands as 17 yr old when it came out , in Bedsit Land West rd , lyrics still having a massive meaning in todays Worlds problems NOW , who fearing A Nuke War in 2022 !
bloody marvellous...this gem went to the big vinyl graveyard in the sky a long time ago...oh the memories. Leamington Spa Center - longtime ago, must have been '83ish.
Being the mother of many the tribe had to keep its harvest planned. The production of the expected goods was of primary importance, or so they said, and the years of discontent were upon us. This was their explanation and a justification which made anyone who questioned them liable for treason. They soon had workers. They plucked the groups fleas from them and scratched them when the irritation of their skin became too much. Of course, they gave their workers ample opportunity to make good for themselves, for always loomed large in the background screaming whispers of orders or demolishing thoughts they believed to be too risky. We often discuss matters of importance over dinner, in a large room, pretending to be farmers. We frequently came to mutual understandings about facts and figures. I remember vividly one of these sessions. It was a Sunday, although everyday seemed like a Sunday, that some one mentioned the word equality. They seemed taken back at our loss of trust. The master at the head of the table stood up, his voice resonating around the large farmhouse, or so they thought, and assured us that whatever it came across as everyone was just like the man sitting next to him. I was in the corner with a wall either side of me, I later discovered we were equals, but the fact we took orders indirect or otherwise did I must say puzzle me greatly. Soon the leaders became mothers of influence, and mothers of cultivation, but us children sowed the seeds again of a fine harvest. The seeds fed off our blood but did not help but cope. Happy with confinement our family put us in our lives continued as normal. Working each day still the group catered for anyone who thought the family gave them anything they ever wanted. They kept the well-groomed masses well informed and under constant threat of being told to wear a uniform. I heard a traitor say that this was in a way unchallenging, but the general good word spoken by the rest of us was that the masters where doing a good job. Still they provided our food, still they satisfy our thirst. Then one day when the chief did not answer our question and told us of greener pastures elsewhere we decided to call it a lifetime. A person I hardly knew spoke the first words of wisdom he said, "we came for nothing, but settled for less" these were the last words of wisdom.
Even more relevant in these dark times in 2020. Sad state of affairs when a Virus is politicized & profit purchases the government. what happened to Honer & Duty. Government for the people by the People, hope & pray one day?
Omega Tribe are now confirmed as joining the line-up for the ‘Vi Day‘ of the AWOD festival, alongside Dirt, Rubella Ballet, Hagar the Womb, Lost Cherrees and many other artists, on Sunday 19 February 2017.
Heard this a few years ago bought angry songs on vinyl from overseas. Ate some L and listened to it and synced with a video of the skull moving. A week later I got it tattooed on my arm. No regrets.
+Bryan Swirsky nah bro, that CD comp is also on LP. it's well worth it. all but 2 of the songs from this LP, plus the full angry songs 7", the bs detector song & another unreleased demo song as well. no love lost is the only piece of vinyl i still need by them... and someday it will be mine!
+NOXIOUSPRICK yes, i know, but that comp does not contain all of "no love lost", leaving the entire LP unreleased outside its initial run. check discogs for copies of the LP.
yeah you right. side note, FINALLY GOT MYSELF A COPY OF THIS LP. just yesterday, and it's in better shape than any copy i've ever seen (which is only 2 in real life).
Just saw Omega Tribe and they are awesome! I'm not really a fan of labels like 'Anarcho' and 'Peace' punk honestly. Punk is about personal liberation, it's all anarchist to me, right? Most of the bands back in the day were talking about the same things. The Exploited and Varukers had some powerful anti-war songs, so did many others. I think we need to stop categorizing bands based on whether or not the album cover has color on it. We all want freedom peace and liberty, I hope. There is no fun in the worlds death, destruction, and chaos
Also , just speculating but back in the day there where lonesome kids in no scene , hungry for this stuff and repulsed by Oi and Exploited Clash etc etc et-*@*#*##-c , and wether or not it was a conscious effort the 'proper' anarcho bands where making life easier for those kids who - at least to start with - only had a Jax in their pockets and hopefully a decent record shop in their town (cos if I remember right all crass records where banned from HMV). I'M Hoping that suited crass... Cos who wants to feed the EMI beast!!?!

never reissued in its entirety. there's a cd comp out there. but sadly, that's it. where are the trendy anarchopunks when we need them most?

Deaf And Destruction well said mate.
Did not even know omega tribe were still going ! Brilliant to know they are. I’ll have to try and watch them live! 🤟🤟
I'm not big on labels myself but there's a chasm of difference between this stuff and the exploited , and not all punk is anarchic. Far from it.
