- Isaac Penington (1616-1679) was an Englishman whose writings describe and promote the faith of the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers), as it was practiced at the beginning of their movement in the mid-seventeenth century. In this study, participants are reading and discussing a Penington tract titled "Some of the Mysteries of God's Kingdom Glanced At."
