I always found it ironically amusing that the deal Hürrem offers to Ibrahim here at 8:00 is, in fact, what everyone later insists that Suleiman should've done when it came to Ibrahim. She's actually offering him the more merciful option, but Ibrahim, whose hubris is his downfall, is unable to see it.
She thought that she was above all, even from Syleiman. That's the ultimate evidence of her own arrogance. Ibrahim never wanted the power that Syleiman gave him, however Syleiman gave it to him, because he decided so. In this perspective, Hurrem is the main responsible and arrogant and the next one is Syleiman. Only the Sultan of the Ottoman Empire could make deals and offers, Hurrem should respect everyone or else how could she treat herself as a queen and a Sultana? Or maybe she would do Mihrimah just like her, rude, arrogant and greedy? She already transformed Selim, her own son in a monster, because he was rude and he hated his brothers and even more Beyazid, she used Mihrimah to marry Rustem, only to make him Grand Vizier and take Ibrahim's place at Council. So no, for me (and I hope for many others too, because all of us should see the truth, which is this truth I write here right now) Hurrem was arrogant and greed, Syleiman and Rustem, not Ibrahim, Mustafa, Mahidevran or Hatice, not even Sah. If Ibrahim had hybris, then how Hurrem lost four sons in the end? Who should I blame? This snake Rustem, who had all orders of Hurrem fulfilled, avoiding to think that she was using him, just like she was used Gulshah and Nigar or even Daye? Or Hurrem and Syleiman for their arrogance and greed and thirst for more power? Those who want more, they lose everything they have, this phrase fits Syleiman, Hurrem and Rustem and all those who were till the end their supporters and servants.
@@dionysiossmaragdis2844truly unbiased comment. One thing that hurrem is good at is she exposes other people but managed to hide her own sins. I think in the end, Suleiman discovered that she is not an angel and she indirectly confessed about slandering Mustafa when he asked her about it but it was too late and she was already dying so no use to give her any punishment. But only if her mistakes were discovered earlier she would pay for it.

Hurrem sultan is way too kind to hatice. We need kosem sultan, even her haseki version, to teach hurrem sultan how to deal with sultanas which are ranked lower. Lets not forget that hurrem sultan outranks hatice.
If Hatice ranked lower than Hurrem why does she curtsy to her ? In this dynasty it seems that a person who is born royal will always outrank those who married in.
@@7lillie It's another of the many historical facts that were altered for the show.
