On the weight limit, Im a bigger guy (275lbs) and a photographer what else do I need to be aware of. Love your videos. Thanks!

I'm so happy you are liking my videos. If you have a trip planned I assume you have a safari operator already. And they would be the most helpful to answer about weight. I assume you are bringing photography equipment which will need to be planned in advance because there are weight limits on the planes. That being said, your operator will know the size of planes you are on and thus be able to advise you better than me about your question. Without all your itinerary specifics Im afraid I was not too helpful. Safari Njema, Lori

What’s the best type of luggage and what are the dimensions? Please be specific. I’ve heard backpacks, duffel bag or a carry on. I will be traveling to Kenya and Tanzania in August.

Thanks for the great video. I'm concerned about being too old for a safari. Any advice. I have arthritis and require a walking cane.No other health issues. Thanks again.

I have had clients go on safari who were in their late eighties so I dont think there is an age limit. Only a limit to how comfortable you will be. A walking cane is fine for safari but not for trekking with chimps and gorillas. On safari, you are mostly in a truck driving around. That being said, it can be bumpy in the trucks, and there is a lot of walking back and forth on unpaved paths to and from your room or tent to eat, to come and go from the truck, etc. I hope that helps you. I also offer a one-hour phone consult for $100 to answer all safari questions. If you are interested in that let me know and I can send a link to pay. Or visit my web site to sign up. Thanks. All the best,
      Lori
