Everton casually in the bottom half of the table qualifying for UCL 😂 6:39
That means they must’ve won the FA cup, then the Europa League, then got UCL. I know Everton fans would kill for that right now 😂
An insane set of circumstances!
No way that happens IRL though
Can confirm, am an Everton fan who would chop off their left bollock for that to happen.
i would do ungodly things for that amount of success. our board have ruined our club
As a Everton fan. Hell yeah better than what we have now
Love Tenerife casually finishing 3rd in the final La Liga season.
I think Southampton and Leicester are proving that the Premier League is massively overrated in FM.
The issue isn't even with the best players - I'd argue they're all rated correctly. The issue is with the squad players who are much, much better than they are in reality. A few points off their CA and PA to match reality would balance the Premier League out compared to the rest of Europe. It won't stop the best teams from still being the best, but it'll fix the rest of them in Europe.
Those two had no business doing that well in La Liga, they would get absolutely battered
@@mnm5165 bottom half la liga teams are about as good as average championship teams so this makes sense
They are not too overrated I think, Premier League is juat filthy rich/strong
@@FlyingSandile It's rich, but I don't agree that all the teams are strong - Leicester and Southampton have been terrible this year, yet the game thinks (without Premier League money or reputation to help them) they're both solid La Liga sides. That just isn't true.
As I said, the issue isn't with the 'good' players, it's with the squad players that are far better than they are in reality. SI/the FM scouts has always historically had a bias towards the Premier League (and certain other teams outside it) which means it always overperforms reality. How othen have you seen the Champions League winners be English team after English team for years? Again, that doesn't reflect what actually happens.
There just needs to be a bit of balancing, and for someone at SI to take an objective view of their scout's reports and fix a bit of the bias that they currently have.
@@StewartForsyth if you simulated like 10 normal prem season with Leicester and Southampton in them then in a few of them they’d probably do quite well and get around mid table. Probably a similar case if you redid the actual prem season irl again. Everyone knows Leicester’s squad is way too good for relegation and Southampton have very good young players. La liga is also definitely not near the prem in terms of depth of quality especially towards the lower end so for Leicester and Southampton to get upper mid table and challenge for fringe European spots isn’t that weird at all tbh.
Does having Spanish based teams in the EPL affect their operating costs at all? Having to fly backwards and forwards to the UK every other week can't be cheap.
Do you really think this is a big operating costs?
By the way, do you think this teams don't take flights to play La Liga ???
It would be interesting to know they’re youth recruitment was now being based in England.
I’m an arsenal fan but even I had to laugh at arsenal winning four champions leagues in a row
Next up put Ajax in the Premier League but....
Make it Ajax with the best players from the past 5 years (which would simulate what Ajax could be if it could hold on to its best players).
So, Ziyech, Alvarez, Blind, De Ligt, De Jong, Antony, Mazraoui, Haller and Onana would still be at Ajax for example.
9:49 pep guardiola arena 😂
Hi Tom, any plans to do a career save. Loved the Aberdeen “On the rocks” save. 😀
Great idea.. Can you please explain how you change the teams in the editor? Really stuck?
Thanks
Andy
You should have put Southampton and Leicester in there with RM and Barcelona and see if they would reach anywhere
If Barca and Madrid plays in the EPL
It will become a Farmers league with Man City competing for the 2nd spot
This has to be the 3rd time you've done this experiment. Definitely seen this video before
I've done Celtic and Rangers a couple times before, and some similar Tik Tok's, but never these teams on UA-cam!
10 teams qualifying for Europe in season9!
What type of squad view do you use to look at the current ability and club??
How do you move clubs to other leauges?
pre-game editor
The fm editor
Not the one in game. Then you search for the league add them there + go to the club to indicate which league they will play in I think.
Hi tom, could you try pumping money into the singapore premier league. As a fan of the channel from singapore im always curious how that would turn out. Especially when our local football isn’t that great
U can do that urself but it won't do much, players don't wanna sign
tbh i feel a dutch+belgian league merger would be far more realistic and beneficial for both parties?
How do you simulate all these years, how many hours does it take?
"Lou and Owsky"?
fardin would be really mad bc of real sociedad
Man City losing 6/7 games in a league season? This simulator is broken...
Can you make the European super league
With the best 92 teams in the english system
How do u do that?
What league is everyone managing in?
Where can get this game free?
whyd you wanna relegate chelsea bro
Barca on top
4 UCL in a row for Arsenal ❤
Give cyprus 1B moneyyy🇨🇾🇨🇾🇨🇾
Place Celtic and Rangers into the Premier League, if you haven’t done so already. I can do with a laugh.
He’s done that already, like 9 or 10 months ago
PUT THE PREMIER LEAGUE IN THE UCL
Great
can someone help me to load up the 1998 mod? I have downloaded it and it shows up on football manager, but it doesn’t show anything on how to load up a game with the mod, help please!
Arsenal!!!!!
My takeaway from all this is that FM is broken
Just shows you how Barca is cheating the system in La Liga, signing 20 players per window when they are in huge debt lol
This simulation is absolute garbage. Not in one season did man united qualify for CL.
Your girlfriend's really pretty tom
So apparently moving real and Barcelona to the prem makes arsenal a monster in the champions league. That I love to see
The butterfly effect is crazy 😂
Their team was class! Knockout specialists
please tell me you're from the future mate
That's weird as it's the opposite in real life, Barcelona flying in Laliga and Madrid in the ucl.
The Problem here is that Madrid and Barca Likely can't register all of their players because of homegrown problems. Also how did Real Madrid draw Barca in the Round of 16 at 5:00 ? isn't that not possible?
Maybe it'll be scrapped as part of the overall format change?
The Premier league is definitely overrated on FM.
Yeah there is no way in hell that Southampton and Leicester would be anywhere near the top 4 in La Liga If we’re being honest
@@bababababababa6124 they had no business being there 😂they would get battered
@@bababababababa6124 other than atleti, barca and real, la liga is REEEEEEALLLY weak
@@xenon8342 So weak that Villareal reached the semis in the champions league last year. So weak that teams like Sevilla have battered others in the Europa league, including Man U. Get out of my face PL suck off.
@Dan SouthLondon Talk to me when your league has more champions league trophies than La Liga.
4:43 actually Barça also have Frenkie de Jong at 183
Oops, I missed that! Great spot!
Video suggestion: top 3-5 teams from the top 5 leagues get put into the same league, we can truly see what team would be the best on paper then.
A real Super League 👀
@@TomFM and an extra idea on top of it I just thought of now if you want to fill out the rest of the slots, take the top team from the next few leagues and put them into that same league as well
Isn’t that basically what the champions league does anyway lol
@@TomFM If i remember correctly to one of last Fm's i believe it started from 2017 ... someone created a Super Ligue 30 or 34 TOP reputation clubs smashed together with
i found it - World Super League (WSL) for FM22
That is superleague 😅
Video suggestion:
Put everyone from the Championship to the second league tier one of the top 5 league and see after years how clubs are doing. In reverse we could see how clubs from second tier they got into the premier league/league one. Could be several episodes :D
Would it be possible to do this with the best belgian teams? I know they will not get far but it would be funny 😁
When you end up last in the Premier League and still get as much money as the winner in La Liga ofc the leagues are going to be unbalanced to each other. Premier League teams are massively overpaid.
Would that be interesting to make a video where you explain the European Cups Group Stage reform for the 2024/25 season with the help of FM23. For example, you record the group stage draws for UCL, UEL and UECL and explain how it works etc...
I'm not sure I've explained it well and if it's understandable but hopefully you'll see what I mean
I love seeing Villarreal doing well in these sims.
Interesting idea for a video, not sure how viable it is though. What would happen if each premier league club was managed but one of its former players? Kompany at City, Boa Morte at Fulham etc
I had the same idea! Trying to only use players who were legends at the club. Chelsea - Lampard, Arsenal -Vieira or Henry, Man U - Rooney or Van Nistelrooy, Liverpool - Gerrard, but some of them you might have to add to the database. Like Matt Le Tissier for Southampton. It would be fun to see who lasts longest and who goes on to have the best career.
I only just discovered your channel and I love it 😁 I love these FM experiments
Welcome aboard!
Can you do a video with a team that you edit the stats so they have 20 for big matches compared to 1 for big matches
How do u show their CA?
how to move team?
Why I always see in such type of experiments when Premire League claimed 8 or more Europe places? I saw here 6 Champions league places one, insane.
I know it is possible when 2 teams outside of top-4 won Champions league and Europe League, but in that case place #4 usually drop to Earope League, so that just makes no sense.
It's the new UEFA rules coming in 2024. The top 2 nations by UEFA coefficient (usually England and Spain) will get a 5th spot for the team with the highest UEFA coefficient who didn't qualify for the Champions League. Essentially a way to keep some of the clubs who were going to start the Super League happy. And then that 6th place would have been a team qualifying as they won another European tournament.
@@TomFM damn it. Interesting, and I did not know that. Thanks for clarification
That second season was incredible with 4 teams within a point (and a couple GD) of winning the title. Even down to 6th was a title challenge. Would have been the best season in history if it was true!
how do you change a clubs league?
Could I maybe make a suggestion for an experiment video? Swapping clubs across continents! Like for example, what would happen if you swapped the English and Brazilian teams? Would the English teams dominate the Copa Libertadores? Would the Brazilian teams even manage to compete in the UCL? And what would the transfers be like? Thats something I'd always thought would be interesting, and if you wanted to do it on a lower scale, how about swapping Scotland and USA? Anyway, love your experiment videos, they're always so well edited and put together, thankyou!
Crazy how Barca can win anything in the play offs in Europe, while irl they have no idea how to do it xD
Can you do a retro UCL and UEFA Cup with just the Champions qualifying for UCL and the others for UeFA Cup? I wish it would go back to that System in real life too. 😢
How does stuff like homegrown and stuff work here?
Now put P$G there. They will not finish higher than 10th. What a joke of a team
Video idea! Simulate what happens if Catalonia gains independence and establishes a separate league (which is what they'll have to do) and, this is important, if Barcelona moves to Ligue 1. What's left for the brand new Catalan league? Does La Liga stay in the top 3 long term? How well does Barca do in the French league? And most importantly, how does this new Catalan league do in the long term when you simulate several decades into the future? Do they ever get to a point where they qualify 3 or 4 teams to the Champions League? The Catalonians have some real money, and they also produce an insane amount of talent. Would the Catalan league match the quality of the Netherlands? Belgium? Would they do even better?
That's the scenario. Catalan independence, and Barcelona to Ligue 1. How does that play out?
And what about a separate Flemish league and a separate Walloon league after a hypothetical split of Belgium? Of the Brussels-Capital Region-based teams, Anderlecht would be put to the Flemish league and Union Saint-Gilloise to the Walloon league. Multiple Walloon teams have to be taken from lower tiers of Belgian football.
include juve, milan, inter, roma, napoli, bayern, dortmund, psg, marseille, lyon, leipzig, newcastle, porto, ajax to the existing top 6 of pl and make a league
Lol, winning the Prem with 83 points and City suddenly getting 79 points in a season? Kai Havertz winning the golden boot and scoring 23 goals while Haaland gets 19 🤣🤣🤣🤣
100000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 for Real Madrid and fc Barcelona
It's Ruben Selles he's a la Liga manager....he tries to play Spanish football with Southampton and it got us relegated but he might be successful in la liga
Real and Barca would have no problem in the premier league
Real and Barca / la liga own English clubs and prem is overrated
La liga is a sleeper league
Well, Barcelona is evidently decaying rn no? Aren’t they because of the debt?
How to know FM is bollocks? Arsenal winning a Champions League.
4:49
Pedri was not barca best player at 176 because frenkie is at 183
nah they didnt make the championsleague final cuz they gave alaba #7
Wth, Arsenal and Barca winning UCL and Real winning leagues
If Man City were in La Liga or the Serie A, their players stats wouldn’t be as high 🥱
have they had it too easy in spain? - (sevilla knocks man u out of europe 3-0)
Alternative tiltle,Barça and Madrid switch places in the PL
Can i download editor file some where? I would like to play barca in prem
Did I hear you say "World class player in Upamecano"? 💀
Barca beating Bayern and Madrid can't win a UCL is crazy 💀💀
Give all europe league big tv deal same as premiere league and see 100 years
I really think Premier League is overrated here.
FM is biased towards English teams.
Hey Tom playing as Rochdale in the prem my affiliate are Lincoln currently they sit second In the championship
Oh my word, up the IMPS!
Why do you pronounce the word 6th as sict?
The most overrated league in the world.
1 champions league no question.
2:33 Arda Güler 🇹🇷💙💛
what stie called ?
What game are you playing
what skin do you use?
Arsenal dream 😂
Great video
you know it`s really a simulation if ARSENAL won a CL :D
La liga is no where near as competitive as the Prem
😂😂😂in ur dreams you guys loos to laliga in Europe every time
Since Celtic and Glasgow Rangers wanted to join the Premier League, but the FA didn't accept them, how about you do it instead? Since the Scottish Premiership is basically only two teams in regards to the title, put them in the Premier League, let's see how they do for a few decades. Just saying...
Man, this is a complain I ever have with FM. Premier Leage is overpowered in every aspect, is a game that is built around England.
FM probably the only place where Prem teams out do spanish teams in champions league titles. Guess they got to do what makes their fantasy seem “real”
Imagine being a Reál or Barça fan in the 51/52 Season. The Banter will go on forever.
With all the money, Man city fans must get to FIFA and FM to see their club win UCL
