Delightful performance by Dhananjay. I still remember accidently bumping into him & his father in a recording studio in Malleshwaram 7-8 years ago, where I got to hear him for the first time. It was a wonderful experience then as well.
Good performance however I believe "होवन लागी सांझ" is bandish in raga "पूर्व कल्याण" by late Pt. S. N. Ratanjankar which is quite a different raga compared to "पुरीया कल्याण" which has the same swaras but different चलन. Having said that many musicians erroneously sing it as a "पुरीया कल्याण" bandish. Dhananjayji is probably following what has been done before by other senior artists. It is unfortunate though that in the process a very different raga by the name "पूर्व कल्याण" is being forgotten or being overlooked...
