inspiring I'm more than very "glad" that this stupid ass "show" got cancelled bcause 1st the "2nd season" wasn't based on 1 of the "books" when the "1st season" was, nd 2nd the stupid ass creators decided to air "2 episodes" in 1 day starting with this "episode" nd so on the same till the "10th final episode" I mean... like wtf?!?!? It seemed that the sick ass creators didn't know what else 2 fucking do.

1:10-1:22 was most heartbreaking. Amberlie was the best character in the show like a lotus, pure admist all the mud of malice and hatred and war. I loved her. Especially her and Will's love. I miss her soooo much.

I think it’s cause she didn’t want to give him hope, didn’t want to give him a taste of what he could never have. She didn’t want to torture him with the possibility. It’s better for him to hate her and move on that love her and stay in the past.
because this is not Amberle anymore. She became the Elcrys, and have different emotions now, shes not a person anymore. That resembles too in this scene different outfits and different speaking too.

Andrea Oliveira seems like that isn't gonna happen. I have read around that he and Enritrea or however it is spelled are endgame. Appearantly they are destined or something to have kids. But it was kinda obvious considering how thdy met, what happenes when they met. And it os obvious they have feelings for each other despite everything. And she has suffered a lot... she does deserve a happy ending. Plus, they always have a way of putting things in a way we all end up happy with it and forget all about Emberly and Will being together.
I understand that is what the book says, and everything about Eritrea, and I respect all point of views, but I just love Amberle and Poppy Drayton too much!

Season one was riveting and fantastic. I BARELY made it through two episodes of the second season, post Amerbele’s death. There is nothing to it without Amberle. She and Will MADE the series work.

@@AndreiSaulea00 Eh, I don't think that's the case. Amberle wasn't meant to be the permanent protagonist. From the very start, the show would definitely have a different cast come season 2 because of how The Elfstones of Shannara ended up. At its core, network mismanagement was the problem, not cast changes.
I know her becoming the new ellcrys and Will and eretria being husband and wife with kids is the story in the books, but unfortunately for the book series, in the show eretria isn't liked by the audience with Wil at all and Wil and Amberle had chemistry and majority of the show's audience wanted Wil and Amberle. That's why Amberle becoming a tree and Wil and Amberle not being together in season 2 was just a fail and did not do well for the show.

They turned her into a tree : direct causation to the show getting cancelled. Same thing with Vampire Diaries, the main character leaves and the shows TANK because it's just dumb (and in these two situations, apparently the actress' choice to stay removed)
To be fair, she becomes a tree in the book too. They were just following the source material, depressing as it is.
This was not fair, not only for us but for them, this scene was so... cold.. and let’s not pretend that their love wasn’t real because Amberle did loved will and in here it just doesn’t seem like it. this wasn’t the “closure” we need it .

For everyone asking for Amberle to be brought back out of the tree, it can't happen. I'm a long time fan of the book, who when watching the series was very disappointed about all the changes that they made, but this is one of the key points in the book that I was happy they kept and knew they had to keep. Amberle always stays a tree and Will marries Eretria. It was so shocking in the book and just as heartbreaking, something I haven't forgot in 20 years since reading it. On my channel I am reading the Elfstones of Shannara book for anyone interested in hearing the books version of the story, and learning more about your favorite characters. Right now we're on chapter 5, but 6 and 7 will be coming out tomorrow. Come check it out and let me know what you think. :D

This show SLAYED me. I know it's campy and the acting was so-so, but I enjoyed it so much! I watched it through on Netflix at least 5 times. I'm working on the book right now and it's freaking amazing.

For all of you begging for amberle to come back, she's not coming back. She is apart of the tree now. In the end, will ends up with eretria. They will have children together. It was always going to be this way, assuming the show can continue. It's what happens in the book.

I disagree this show is so much better without Amberle. No more awkward love triangles like something out of twilight. In the 2nd season every character grew because of her sacrifice. The show didn't die because she left, it died because it went to a different channel/network and had almost no advertising with some eps released back to back because Spike tv wanted to get rid of it asap.

After one year after I saw the second Story, I am so sad. I love the story and the books. Now I bought the English books because it's one thing to read the german books but when now you can read the true story and jet I love the story so much.
Ok first off amberle needs to come back. But she needs to end up with eretria aka princessrover. She and wil have no Chem at all.
Princess Amberlee and Wil have far more chemistry plus Amberlee and Will were in love with each other. In the books Eretria and Wil get together get married have children and live ever after because it is Canon in the novels. Eventually the show creators will have Eretria and Wil get together

I feel the chemistry between Princess Amberlee and Wil, they fell in love with each the moment they met. I ship Amberlee and Wil together, plus Amberlee has more chemistry with Wil than Amberlee with Eretria. It is canon that Eretria and Wil fall in love, get together get married and have children in the novels. Plus it is canon in the book that Eretria is Straight and is only interested in Wil and no one else and barely any interaction with Amberlee and most definitely had no girlfriend in the book

These books were great as a young teen before I was ready to just read LOTR. After the Druid of Shannara it starts the break from being a LOTR clone and does it’s own thing.
