I wonder if you initially developed a drawing "all over" style, as in you worked out the whole head at once, before your current drawing style, working from a spot outward ( like developing the complete eye, before the other, and then a complete nose... and so on ). Did you ever draw entire portions at once?
this guy is NOT drawing off the top of his memory, but more so drawing it with an actual image just off the camera view, these are portrait artist. It NOT considered copying but it lets the artist hone ones visual memory skills which is really hard to master but this artist is beyond a level of portrait artistry they i havent seen in a long time. Very good to see their are still artists doing Portrait art to this level
