I will never shut up about how cool N.Flying is, actually one of the coolest band to exist, i am a k-band enthusiast, and as i say every band has it's own charms, N.Flying shines so much, they're so lively and has so much variety in their discography. Though this is my first comeback with them as a N.Fia, i just wanna say i'm super proud of them!!! Fighting!

Agreed. I think it's because of the fundamental difference in how idols and bands approach music. For idols, music is designed to serve a performance while for bands, the performance is meant to serve the music. That is because idols dance and musicians play. That one fundamental difference drastically affects how both groups approach music. For idols, a song is meant to function in service of a performance such as dancing and the group's general image. Just look at any Idol group such as EXO and Stray Kids, it's clear that the music is designed to serve a performance. Compare that to bands where the lack of dancing requires to place more emphasis on their music and skill as a band. Look at Day6's live performances, they must stay in the same spot but they still carry a lot of energy as the focus is meant to be on the song not on them. And this isn't exclusive to just SK. I've noticed this difference between bands and groups (Boy bands and Idols) in other countries. That isn't to say there can't be overlap and exceptions but this is generally the norm. Now neither approach is superior than the other nor should it been an indication that one side is superior than the other. There are idol groups out there who produce their own music and bands who rely on an outside producer for composing. Each approach is equally valid and designed to serve a specific function. Personally, I prefer bands over idols but I can see how others might choose the latter.
i generally prefer idols bc i am just getting into kbands, i basically only know n.flying and onewe bc they were recommended to me. i can definitely see the appeal already and can tell thay kbands need more recognition. can someone recommend some other kbands for me to look into?
Bands are not as appreciated in S Korea as in Western countries. N.Flying is just one of them. People there prefer pop music or ballads. N. Flying's music in the early days had more metal and gothic elements, but these are all gone. The band sounds more pop now. Not sure if it is their choice or if they just compromise with the market.
It makes me sad that N.Flying (and KBands in general) doesn't get the recognition they deserve. While they aren’t like general KPOP groups, they are also talented, dedicated, and hard working people who care for their fans. It’s just ridiculous that talent like this gets overlooked in the KPOP community. More people should take the time to appreciate their music. We need to help share this with others.
Korea has the most talented band and solo artists but they don't get the recognition that they deserve. Young k from day 6 mentioned that they just got lucky because they are from jype but he still feel like they don't have that much market in korea vs abroad.
the kpop community now is all about (a) numbers - how many views and likes and comments and shares can fandoms rack up in less time. an mv having a million views used to be a huge thing, now it is expected of every artiste. there are even people who look down on artistes with less than 1M views ("xyz must be boring or sth, that's why they don't even have 1M views") (b) thirsting over idols and writing horrifyingly inappropriate comments/fanfics and sh*t and eventually everyone normalising and encouraging fantasies like fans are "dating" or "married" to their idols (which lead to stalker and sasaeng cases and also normalising mf stalkers like Dispatch smh) (c) fandoms fighting over who is the absolute BEST, like the fans are not happy with their faves being one of the best cuz it mf has to be the best in the entire universe. and even if they're admiring their faves, they *have* to put others down to make their faves look good. comments like "xyz group/idol is sooo good, not boring and trashy like abc/pqr groups/idols" is how they praise their faves (d) not even bothering to turn on the cc or try to know/understand what the song is about so not only do solo artistes and kbands but these kpop groups suffer too (cuz there's hardly anyone that actually appreciates the music) and i hate what this community has become😞😞😭

@@bean3309 as a fellow choice (assuming from your pfp) i completely understand and relate to your worries (a) this is the major difference i've noticed in early years of kpop, the 2nd gen. up till then, kpop was about expressing your emotions and spreading your message through songs and being more open and experimental with many sounds and genres, and looks were considered a plus factor instead of something that was absolutely necessary. by the time 3rd gen began, the entertainment agencies and composers and everyone had figured out what kind of music and synths the audience likes and so everyone started making songs having same/similar sounds and gave up on doing any hardwork or presenting variety in music. music now equals one-hit wonder songs (b) they also saw how charmed the audience were with the idol's visuals and so now agencies don't accept trainees unless they conform to the (toxic) beauty standards. there are countless idols and celebs out there who starve themselves to death just to be "appreciated" by the unknown masses (c) they saw how debuting groups with all all-rounder members got a positive feedback from the audience so now in every single group, all members are great visuals, all members are great vocalists, all members are great rappers, all members are amazing performers. everyone can do everything and the meaning of a team (to work together and complement each other) is no longer relevant, which is exactly why newer groups don't pique my interest cuz everything is so mechanical and pre-decided, everyone is capable of doing everything. _they don't even seem humans to me anymore_ (d) also at this point i have a personal theory that all these groups are trained (?) in crackheadery cuz suddenly every single group is funny leading to people stanning them. not that it's a bad thing, i just don't find it funny anymore :/ also, don't worry your English is just fine :)) and btw did you check the comeback trailer A.C.E recently posted? i'm so excited yay🥳🥳
N.Flying really knows how to produce songs that makes you feel comforted, do something or have fun. Moonshot makes me really want to fly to the moon with this new courage they've given me through a song. Absolute well done

The MV is pretty but the song also has a really nice and strong meaning when you understand the lyrics with the metaphors they used. The moon is a representation for our fears and shooting to moon represents beating our fears. You can get over your fears if you stand on it without being afraid... I love it
I really needed this song. I'm graduating college this week and I don't know where my life is heading anymore. That being said, this song gave me so much courage to face the future head on and take action!!!

if anyone new to N.Flying likes this song I really recommend their Japanese single “Amnesia”, mini album “Yaho”, and their Japanese album “Brotherhood” I’m a big fan of energizing music with lush instrumentals (bonus points for brass) so if you’re of the same mind, please check out their other music too, I promise they won’t disappoint!

I’m kinda new to Nflying, so i cant consider myself a fan yet since i dont know that much about them, but i really like K bands and so far i LOVE all of the Nflying songs that i have heard. So in conclusion thank you for the recommendations i look forward to getting to know Nflying more!
As someone who studied film I appreciate their refrences to important films in film history. The roof set is a nod to German expressionism esp The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari. And the moon with the camera eye to the French film A Trip to the Moon
MyDay here congratulating N.Flying on their nomination!! Kbands are legit something special. Their music is just so much more meaningful and inspiring to me. All the artists in the category are so talented.
I remember seeing that this had come out but I was swamped with preparing for going back to college and could only focus on comebacks of my ults. So glad I finally remembered and came back to this because it's so good. Honestly, I see N.flying becoming one of my ult bands when i finally get around to actually staning them. Because this is exactly the kind of song that I needed this week.

N.flying fans are lucky, I came across this since I'm subscribed to the FNC ent channel and I looked at it a while back and I was like when this comes out I'm so listening to it, and I do not regret it. It's amazing and I plan on looking into the album ^^

I sometimes don't understand why the vocalists of Kbands are underrated. When there is a compilation of best vocalists or best vocals, I don't see anyone from the Kbands. But Yonghoon of Onewe, Hweseung of N.flying and many other vocalists from various bands are so good. So many people are missing out on hearing their vocals and amazing songs. I just feel sad.
Oh really was one of my top 5 songs last year, I can already tell this will be top 5 this year. N.flying never disappoint, it's always masterpiece after masterpiece. On another note, my sister is going to kill me for watching this without her.....
It wasn't until watching the last summer camp when I realised Hun does smile and he is a fun/funny/cute(in his own way) person. I completely thought he was serious all the time as I watched him performing like that. (I'm a new N.Fia, so that was the impression I had) hahaha

Back again after Dongmyeong thanked Hweseung for posting onewe's Rain to Be on his instagram. He's so sweet :') Will definitely have to watch their Kiss the Radio with Day6 ep segment tomorrow after onewe's now and no doubt I'll officially end up fully becoming N.fia then, I've just been too lazy to dive deeper until now but the new album is amazing

Aaaaaaa I was in a bad place when this came out 2 months ago, and I only got to hear to the full album a week ago. Moonshot, Ask and Comma, are my favourite songs from the album. I love that when I hear the song and the fact "Ah this is N.Flying music." popped up it my mind. I love love love love love this album. Definitely my favourite album this year so far.

I remember seeing that this had come out but I was swamped with preparing for going back to college and could only focus on comebacks of my ults. So glad I finally remembered and came back to this because it's so good. Honestly, I see N.flying becoming one of my ult bands when i finally get around to actually staning them. Because this is exactly the kind of song that I needed this week.

I sometimes don't understand why the vocalists of Kbands are underrated. When there is a compilation of best vocalists or best vocals, I don't see anyone from the Kbands. But Yonghoon of Onewe, Hweseung of N.flying and many other vocalists from various bands are so good. So many people are missing out on hearing their vocals and amazing songs. I just feel sad.
