I look for $1 a mile. If it’s more that’s great. That’s my minimum though. In my market a dollar s mile is good. Yes I’ve got good with navigating apartment complexes. When I first started I didn’t like apartments but now I actually enjoy them. I don’t send any communication to the customer. Only if there’s a problem like taking longer than expected at restaurants or stuck in traffic.
I would communicate with a customer if you've been waiting past 5 minutes at the restaurant. If the order is on Uber Eats, always leave a simple note like "Enjoy and have a good rest of your day/night" when it prompts you. Now if a customer reaches out to you for a status update or whatever, I'd return the order and cancel it. That to me is a huge red flag that they're a PITA Karen.

DDash is playing games with my acceptance rating. How can I be accepting more orders than I decline and still have a lower rating at the end of my dash than I had starting? Is there a catch to this rating system I'm missing? Have you noticed anything like this?

The E-bike thing is only good for ppl who didn't have a car and already in the position but who doesn't have transportation and looking to Dash? The key to making good money step 1 doing DoorDash is to spend $2500 on an E-bike?? What.... lol
Don’t have to spend 2500. You can borrow or rent or buy a cheaper one or use your car while you save up…. plenty of ppl consider dashing without transportation some even do it on foot what… lol
@BestDasherAlive you definitely live in a different type city, delivery by even e-bike not possible, definitely can't walk. How far as these walking deliveries?? Pissed if my food is taking a while bc the person is walking it 😆

Best to make money from videos of dashing.. At least work to that goal.
