Some golden advices are here. Recently I got my COC but I'm already having second thoughts of having a shore job or to start a small business my own. Basically I had the same question that you explained here. I guess your video answered most of questions. Thank you very much Capt. Asanka and thank you Dr./Capt. Samrat for making this great video.
Around 18 years experience in different marine companies from cadet until Master I am not observed office people coming from Marine industries except Port captain and Port engineer But most of that people really they don't have any marine knowledge So companies should be changing that culture must be hiring people from X marine crew For sure they will resolve more problems and more disasters
Thank you very much for the video. Really appreciate your efforts. I think the captain asanka is a srilankan. I like to see him again through the channel and hear his experiences. Thank you sir.
Very informative video sir. Please also make a video regarding distance learning courses we can start onboard at junior officer ranks(nautical side),which will really help us when going to try working a shore job. Thanks in Advance.
i have seen so many of your videos sir but actully speaking i did not learn anythng.= nor did it got any idea what to do after sealife .i thought this is all i am thinking all my life..save money, get masters license....i know all this..nathing about capt. how did he start?wer is he now? how did it all start? and same was the thing wen we talked about capt with off shore vessel. i belive its getting more and more confused. there are no solution, no pathways...why do all the answers have to be deplomatic at least a few can be straight forward
sir, good video .Can you please also make video with the actual name and ref. of the courses and the opportunity along with it for better understanding. thank you
