I’ve tried it and it’s good however it’s only good for towers. I can’t use it as part of another build as it’s offset when the stairs finish

Thank you so much!!!! I have been trying....no failing....to make these work in my builds cleanly. This is a game changer! And for my purge base these stairs are great for keeping my thralls on specific levels as they don't seem to use these stairs to move.

Very usefull for small builds
Yeah, definitely prefer these to regular stairs, least inside a building. So glad this was made cuz i had some way to enclose but it wasn't pretty
This is awesome! I honestly prefer these stairs as opposed to the elevator bc the elevator is so fidgety to work with
Yeah I'm not a huge fan of the elevator, but mainly for aesthetics. It's so big and bulky that it really sticks out in a lot of builds

Crazy that after waiting so long for historically accurate stairs they're a complete mess to try and use properly. Still, after seeing some of the builds in this video using the new pyramid set, I'd love to see someone attempt a Jedi temple.
Yeah they're not the easiest thing to use properly. Still praying for a spiral staircase at some point though

Could you potentially put an elevator up the middle and utilize it for dual purpose ascention lol. I’ll try it tomorrow, but could also be a solution to using the pyramid pillar top to cap it.
Yes, I tried it, you totally can. Use hatch frames instead of ceiling tiles to hang your door frames. I also put a pillar in the middle of the first four ceiling tiles you place, so it outlines the central corridor, rather than a pillar up the middle. This should allow for hatch frames instead of ceiling tiles.

Very cool idea! But I badly wish they would add REAL spiral stairs without space in the middel. Or stairs which fit in triangel spaces to put them into 6x triangel towers or anything like that.
Yeee I would love some spiral stairs or wedge-suitable stairs. I think spiral stairs are more likely in the future, though I think they're probably waiting for a more elegant build set to put them into. Stormglass Cathedral could have been a good option
This method also works with Wooden struts instead of the doorframes as well

What right-angle-stairs? I looked through all of my building pieces and can't any right-angle-stairs.
You get them through most building sets from the bazaar like the aesir fort set

@@randallporter1404 right now, theres the stormglass sanctum set that has them if u wanna try it. plus its a beautiful set with alot of pieces
The stormglass also... but forget if it was with original stormglass or the extra pieces...
How does one 'hang sandstone doorframes from the bottom ceiling'?
So usually you'd place wall or door pieces on the top of a ceiling or foundation like normal, hanging them would be placing them underneath a ceiling so they essentially "hang" there

idk why the official dev doesn't just add half tile and 1/4 tile pieces, maybe too busy with battlepass
Also, how are you building like that? You seem to be disembodied, and flying around like a ghost.
If you are playing on single player or if u r the server admin.. go to settings of the game, click on "Make me Admin" if u r on SP, once the admin privileges are granted, u will find an "enter creative mode" option in the game pause menu. click on that and you can now cheat in game.. U can build anything, spawn anything, and float around or fly if you double jump. Enjoy. 😊
Anthony beat me to it, but yeah it's creative mode 😂 I also then turn Invisibility on because otherwise my legs block half the screen lmao
