- these are all test videos from early 2019. I replaced the carburetor and install higher capacity batteries since this video. I change the motor position from horizontal to vertical during the build to reduce the dimension
I love this build. I will doing the same thing similar. But with a 10/32 the bigger version

I have also made rc snowblower to the same frame and many of the solutions are same than in my build. :) Really nice! Good to know that it can actually work.

how do you get the hydraulics to work? meaning position the blower up and down
I used rc brush motor controller to control the dc actuator. I used still pics thats in the video to show my progress during the build
I'm working on pretty much the exact same project!!! Same snowblower Craftsman II 23/5, Flysky Ix-6 remote although I've got Quantum motors. I gotta ask what did you use to engage the auger? What motor driver/controller did you use? And would you do anything differently now??? Any help at all would be greatly appreciated.
I used a 2" actuator to push lever with the pulley to tighten the belt. I used a small brush motor controller to control it.
I used a heavy duty 20kg waterproof servo. Cheap and simple. Cheers
What's that blue coupler thing on the axle called ? I assume that's to separate the two axle shafts ? Where do you source you're component's ?
Pillow block bearing supporting the two axles. Motors from ebay, motor controller from robotshop, hardware from surplus center

I haven't converted it yet because it seems like the chute is under sized and clogs a lot more than it should. Do you have clogging issues?
Once in a while with slushy snow. I replaced the carb and now my working rpm is higher. I was thinking about doing the impeller mod but it already shoots the snow at a good distance and. It doesn't clog frequently
I'm building mine right now,i used the same tracks. How have they held up?
They held up fine. Not much yet. I am currently building a bigger one.
