I'm glad I was one of those Gen Zs who caught a glimpse of how simple yet relatable 90s musics were. I can still vividly remember how these types of songs play during noon time. It was only 12 in the afternoon and we were already preparing for our early siesta after lunch. It was 2007 and I was 6 back then. We used to live in a village where we are almost out of place among all modern houses. Our little bungalow house was surrounded by a lot of trees and greens. To make things simple, we were an outcast. My uncle was a village messenger who used to ride on his 'side car' to roam around the village to collect bills and other stuff. My aunt was a talented promdi woman snack seller, her best selling items were 'palitaw' and 'maja' She used to roam the same area as my uncle. We had chickens, ducks, dogs, and cats. Right after we wake up from our afternoon naps, the snacks that my aunt had been unable to sell was resting on the round wooden table, waiting for us to devour them. Life was simple back then. As much as I want to bring those memories back, we are all heading to the same direction and that is the future. I will always relive those times in my head, and the people who made a big part of me that nobody could ever be taken away.

I remember I sang this as a band for a project in MAPEH when I'm at tenth grade together with my classmates and one of them is my long time crush who keeps on rejecting me. I remember I sang this as a band for a project in MAPEH when I'm at tenth grade together with my classmates and one of them is my long time crush who keeps on rejecting me. He always tell that we're just friends but made me feel the opposite. I remember singing the line "oo nga pala, di nga pala tayo" while looking at him playing the lead guitar as I play the bass. He looks back I looked away as I felt the pain in my chest. This song is solid na, daig pa caffeine kasi nagising ako sa kung ano nga ba talaga kami noon. Now him and I are just good friends.
