It's referencing a Kunai :) MK games combined the Kunai with Kusarigama to make Scorpion's weapon.

It wasn't unfortunately. Saw it in Portugal yesterday, I'm a big fan of the game and the lore of MK 9/10/11 but this doesn't hold up to it unfortunately.

@@ariyansingh4914 haven't seen Sonic yet so I'll say Pokemon Detective Pikachu which made you care about the characters. MK didn't make me feel about none of the characters, except Kano and Scorpion who gets only 15 min of screen time DAFUQ!!!

The 1995 MK movie actually sets the world much better than this movie.
The Sub-Zero/Scorpion conflict barely has any weight throughout the movie actually. Barely!
Admitedly, there's not a lot of competition in the genre but this is looking like this will be the best video game movie adaption we've ever had.

Perfect Sub Zero and Scorpion! Could not have picked better actors for these parts. You can tell a lot of love and respect for the source material went into this project. Looking forward to seeing this on Friday!
