i watched this project from start to finish it really gave me a lot of confidence to do my own f2, so now thats currently exactly what im doing, so thank you
I have a 1995 CBR600F3 and I'm keeping it as original as possible apart from the paint and a few mods. I've added some crash protectors and a neat marine 12v cigar lighter socket to charge what I need to on the go :)
kick ass,...come on you cant make this the LAST video. Loving the dash. That's good stuff. You have to do a video riding it around reving it up! Great job by the way again!
The way I did it was I tried to fit the tail on and see what was stopping it from going on. Take measurements to make sure that you are not over cutting. Also be prepared to run to a welder, luckly mines fit without needing any weld but since our sub frame are diff, that may be a diff story for your frame.
They are stock front. The fork works good to me, but thats a matter of opinion. I hear track guys think its a little too soft and they begin to do suspension work on it, like change spring and oil weight
Hey it me again, i bought a multimeter and figured it all out and it is complete. Thanks for your help. My only question now is what did you paint the frame and engine with? Thanks
Dude I have so many questions on where you found all the stuff starting with the front mud guard also the belly pan (fairing under exhaust) and lastly the steering dampner thanks
@mcshezzle85, You'll love doing the project and when it's done you and your bike should have a bond. I was going to sell it since I didnt see a need for two bike but I just cant do that any more.
There's a high temp engine pain you can use. Thats what I did. It goes on smooth and looks great if you do not let it run. The frame I used flat black autozone paint.
The five wires, one is ground, one is constant power, one is power when you press brake, and the two remaining are left/right signal. You should have five wires to tap into from the wire on your bike
Hello and great job! You did very well with the vids explaining your steps. Question please? What model is the Garmin Nuvi? Your speedo idea using the Nuvi is fantastic and you will always know where you are. (Model Please Sir) Thank you, Mark
@TheCbr92 , I stripped the bike down and first covered the engine with news paper and tape to paint the frame, then after it dried, I taped the frame with news paper and sprayed the engine with high temp engine paint. To drop the engine would take too long, I wanted this project done and over with..
@r1sabotage thanks man. than i will probably do the same:D. what are you using for the speedo? is it a gps? if u got it online can you please post the link?
@r1sabotage good looks with the vid. i have a 94 cbr f2 and im trying to start my project in the winter is the year of your bike near my own as well?, only asking because im trying to figure a gsxr tail or a cbr RR .
is the passenger seat supported? could someone sit on there? im doing thesame streetfighter, same year bike, same tail conversion, and would like to ride with a passenger after im finished.
@hockeyjob1 Sorry, i have no idea how that subframe look without the plastic. The best direction to go is google streetfighter pictures of your bike and see what tails people are using

Do you have any pictures of the mounting system you used I'm getting a 93 f2 today or tomorrow. Gonna get a carbon fiber r6 rear fairing for it. Does the rear seat lock on to the plastic or you have to put something on the frame.

That bike is so dope bro nice job!
steering damper, works like a shock to keep the handle bar straight should it want to go left, right without you wanting it to.
How much did the whole thing cost roughly? Excluding the cost of the bike, just parts etc? Thanks
