@@LeDracodonwell after the 3rd or 4th grab in a row, you are in no man’s land, and you dont want to be the one to get shimmied on the grab you finally try to tech.
if you want to do lvl3 after crhp into heavy jinrai, on the second jinrai, instead of doing light light, you can do light heavy and cancel the heavy follow up into lvl 3
Nicely Done GG's !! I'm in a similar boat, Trying to get used to the timing and speed that we have to hit the buttons to land the combos I want, still not 100% how fast and when I need to hit some of them.....Loving the new Drive Mechanics though, great addition to the series imo. I've been playing Street Fighter since the very beginning, when the very first game came out in the late '80's BUT I haven't played for a little while and I never played SF5 since I play on Xbox and the dodgy b-stards Sony bought it for the entire generation (bang out of line imo) Anyway, I've had SF6 since day-one, I also played the Beta and I was lucky enough to be invited to play the other early test sessions as well.....I'm slowly getting there but I haven't had much time to play as work has been crazy busy lately, things should die-down a little now, so I'll have some more time to play so I can finally get my muscle memory back up-to scratch. Sorry for the bit of a long post, thanks for the videos and congrats on hitting Master !! !! Keep On Fighting !!
*TL;DR It might be intentional considering the risk/reward situation and the level of this player.* I've seen a BO5 yesterday, GO1 Chunli against Rasheed. GO1 took every oki throw Rasheed player was doing, he didn't tech once. Considering the level of those players, it might be intentional. The risk/reward for teching isn't that good. A single throw doesn't do that much damage (if no punish counter) compared to a full combo punish with cashout which will lose you the round. It's especially true when the defending player has enough resources to kill with one opening. The amount of HP doesn't mean that much so you can "tank" the damage of multiple throws if you achieve to counter hit at least once. With Guile excellent neutral game, you can expect to finish the round even with 1HP as long as you achieve to push the opponent to the opposite side of the screen...
When you were fighting Dhalsim, he would go to activate his super special or whatever it's called, but then, you would activate your super special move and your super special would hit before his. Can you give me insight on this? Please and thank you
It really makes me feel like a really small fish because you be eating these diamond players for breakfast, but they typically do me the same way you are doing them!🤣
Bro I've been trying to seriously learn SF6 since the open beta putting 27 hours on that and 200 hours after release. Problem is I have no idea what I should be trying to improve on first! I still feel like I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing and have little to no understanding on how things work. I have watched countless videos like this (for beginners) or teaching you and I can't even perform what they say are the basics! I have to practiced for hours just to get a single drive rush combo to hit, so what do I just lose endlessly trying to apply it in a real match? Or sit in practice and spend literal days on a stationary target? Does that help? I'm sorry no offense to you Neph you are absolutely awesome but I honestly don't think anyone makes videos for beginners that I've seen. It's either a video for people who never touched a fighting game ever, and literally don't understand what function they are pressing cause they breeze past when the game tells them all that info. Or it's a huge gap past that where they start to teach optimal combos. That's a huge gap I feel like most of us are in and blindly feeling around.
A super helpful thing in fighting games is muscle memory. Doing the combos enough times that you dont have to think about how to do them anymore will help you tremendously in matches. So yes hitting the training room and repeating combos over and over will help. Start with more basic combos, when youre comfortable with them take a break, go play some matches, use them for a little while and youll become more confident. When youre ready after go for some longer combos. I got some basic ones down and once and a while ill try something more advanced but really I like to play for fun not to be the best. And I dont think theres a huge leap in skill to go from intermediate combos to learning advanced ones. I have 700 hours in SF4 and im pretty average in both games, so dont beat yourself up about it. Also there are some combos that have one or more parts that are difficult, and once you figure them out it becomes easier for the next combo you see it in, not to mention the thrill of success when you get it. And theres more than just being good at combos to fighting games, mind games are a big part and footsies too. Know what youre opponent wants and how to press the right buttons at the right time.

Under circumstances can he combo off of Dragonlash kick (and what strength kick should one use to combo off it)? I was trying to do it out of neutral and I can't get it.
all versions of dragonlash combo into a 4 frame move (cr. lp, st. lp, cr. lk) on counter hit or punish counter, medium and heavy combo into a 4-framer on regular hit only if the opponent is crouching. in most cases you want to go into crouch jab because it links into your medium punch target combo
@@noahc6804 Cool thx I thought it might have something to do with counter hit. Yea crouch lp is what I was trying but I had the dummy standing up, i'll test out what you guys are saying.
His corner meterless optimal off cHP Hjinrai-fLK is double light dp but its too difficult and doesnt link to supers, not worth it for like 100 more damage that regular loop into heavy dp
the hit box on manons circle kick thing looks like it needs to be toned down a bit every time I see mfs get hit by that move it doesn't even touch them
20:07 this is the most optimized Ken combo I have ever seen
I thought it was a gif
WTF, 120k LP players can't tech throws ?
Genuine thing of beauty

13:09 "Nope... now you gotta watch the animation." absolutely cracked me up.
For the jinrai loops instead of the final light kick you can do the light jinrai 1 heavy 2 and super cancel for more damage
I love learning more about this game from your channel nephew, thank you for your hard work! 😁
That Guile has to be a bot there's no way 😂
Maybe just drunk or something, he's definitely good if he got that high
Paid actor
I have definitely been playing this game way too high and have gotten into some situations like that
All guiles are bots.
if you're talking about the throw loop then ur clearly very bad

MY favorite quote 🤣 your ken is dope!
man, your drive rush to close distance before they get up is top notch. definitely on of the main takeaways for me. good stuff, man!
Yeess, more ken! This video is gonna be great! 👍
Your crazy bruh, keep up the good work.
Yooo love the vids, these are super helpful to learn my mains
The castle crashers in the back round tho 😂❤

Went from Nephew to Uncle real quick
In the corner from down HP to heavy jinri, do the heavy follow-up into light dp, it does the most dmg and is easier, unless you go into a super
Even though SF6 is my first fighting game, Im loving these videos

You should post some uncut versions of these videos
meterless dmg optimal after crhp into heavy jinrai is actually 2 light dps, its not a ton of extra dmg but its super stylish
LTG and DSP both said ken is an easy character. But I doubt they can pull any combo like this.

The Guile finish was mad 😂if it works, why change it
0:30 Um actually you gained 2539 points, not 2500
Why is the level of players so poor in America? 7 consecutive tricks, in Europe you forget, people have a much higher level of play
How the hell this Guile has 121000 points and he didn't break a single throw😂 or am I missing something 🤔
Mans musta been baked or some shit
Because it's a mixup.
He thought he will get shimmed if he tried to tech the throw.
