Body by Plymouth. Soul by Satan.
best description of Christine!
One of the best trailers ever made. Absolutely genius.
Now this is what a good trailer should be like: it gives you just enough to get you interested without giving away the whole movie like a lot trailers seem to do nowadays. This and the original teaser for Alien are probably two of my all-time favorite trailers (fitting since those are two of my favorite movies).
I remember seeing this trailer when I was a kid. It scared the crap out of me at the time.
+Kenneth Turner Currently reading the book and as someone who as deathly afraid of being run over, I am genuinely scared.
Wow! Amazing trailer! The machine's details are like a woman's body.
This was my wife and I's favourite movie. I can't count how many times we have watched it.
Good lord at the end it was guenially as if Chirstine was coming out of the screen at you, I can just imagine me watching this trailer in a dark cinema (and due to the sound being VERY loud in cinemas) and jumping in fright at the end of that. The music is rather scary too, it starts off sombre but then it changes to very scary.
Thanks for posting! I was 10 years old in 1983 and remember seeing this trailer. It is not a remake. I begged my mom to take me and my brother to see this and we all had a great time watching it. Kind of makes you wish all classic cars could self-restore themselves the way Christine can. Just think of the hundred of thousands of dollars and time you could save by having to do it yourself!
Got to see her today....She's sweet looking after all these years.
Cool... I'd never seen this trailer. My dad took me and my brother to see this in the theater when it came out. For a ten year old kid, it made quite an impression. Thanks for the video.
Greatest movie trailer... Ever!
SPOILER ALERT, I'll admit, i got scared when that car raced toward the screen at the end
+VersipellistherogueChangeling Me too, imagine watching this in a dark cinema with surround sound
The Best Trailer Forever.
I Love You Christine.
Not gonna lie, it was hard watching this without feeling weird since my name is Christine and spelled the exact same way. I remember when I was little, my friend came up to me and was like "hey Christine, I didn't know you had your own movie" as she held up the VHS. Of course I just gave her an irritated smile like 'very funny'
If I ever wanted a sequel, it would be for this movie....
I'd rather see a remake of this film. I'm not a huge fan of the whole sequel thing with this film. It doesn't need a sequel IMO, but a remake would be cool to see.
This is one of my favorite horror movies of all time!
I'm reading the book right now, before I watch the movie. Oh my god it is so good!
I seen this movie so many times, just finished the book tho and wow i loved it very much! So suspenseful :) a bit long on some parts but overall a great read, i love stephen king!
Body by Plymouth
Soul by Satan
HELL YESSSSS❤
I watched the whole movie when I was 6 or 7 years old and my father always reminds me of how much I cried in her final battle...when the dozer ran over her.
....21 years later I still cry.Can not help it.Loved her and I always will😪
gorgeous car , got me in to this movie
The thing I really like about this trailer is that it doesn't show excessive parts of the movie. I hate seeing previews these days. The trailer shows the entire movie in clips.
One of my favorite horror films of all time!!
Okay ! I wasn't expecting the damn car to race right toward me at the end!
Imagine this in 3D
I remember seeing this trailer in a movie theatre before the main attraction when I was 10 years old. I recall when I heard the beginning, I thought this was going to be some kind of romance thriller. Then I hear the words "Evil" and "Plymouth Fury" indicating it was a car. As I was reading Kings novel Cujo, I knew what it was right away.
Holy shit! I literally jumpe 3-feet in the air! How can something so under rated be so scary? Shows just how bad-ass old movies are!
I just started reading the book without seeing the movie. Gotta love Stephen King.
I am a 25 year old lady who is still in touch with my inner child, a few weeks ago my father told me about this story and I brought a Barbera doll pink volkswagon beetle at a charity shop and I called it Chirstine it may not be the same car or colour but still I wanted to call it Chirstine..
+Eleanor Hogan Be scared when you start calling people shitters. That's when you know Christine has you under her spell.
+codename617 Oh sorry I did not mean any offence, I just did not understand
I ordered the 1/24 scale of Christine, I also got the movie. I got them both off of Amazon. I will have a video up when I get it! it comes January 8th through the 11th.
I haven't seen this in almost 25yrs! Loved the movie, loved the car. And being a Mopar nut sure doesn't hurt.
Thanks for posting.
"Lets motorvate!"
I want a 58' Plymouth!!
Are you not afraid that she will possess you body and soul. and you can not escape even if you wanted to?
Resty Mervin Ponio no I am not because
1.i will kill my bully’s
2.i will love her so much I won’t care
Oh great now I have to scrap my red Plymouth fury because everybody is now scared. Well done director of this movie
Good old classic. One of my favorite movies.
In the original book it was hinted that her last owner, Roland LeBay was possessing the car and influencing Arnie. However Carpenter changed it to just the car being pure evil.
She is Seductive
She is Passionate
She is Possessive
She is Pure Evil
That car is to beautiful to be evil but yes great trailer and great movie at the same time
One of my favorite films.
Thank you for posting this! I never got to see this trailer, I was overseas in the Marines in the Phillippines in 83. So I missed seeing this moving too until like 1988 on vhs. Pretty cool & scary ending! That late great movie annoucer guy too whose's voice was perfect for movie trailers! R.I.P.
Don LaFontaine?
There's a movie about him. A comedy about voice-over artists.
Music and movies. My favorite.
My dad's first car was a red '58 Plymouth Belvedere 4dr. that he got for a highschool graduation present in 1968. He says several years later, when this movie came out, his buddies gave him crap about that car and asked him why it hadn't killed him. He apparently said "Because I fill up with that 'good Gulf Gasoline.'" HAHAHA, my dad's such a trip! He cracks me up...
i wish they made trailors like that nowadays,
great book, im almost done
fuck the 80s were good times! for movies I just love that old look such a good era for things
A beautiful reveal. Nicely done.
Nunca me cansaré de verla, es una pelicula extraordinaria, la mejor pelicula de terror de todos los tiempos!
Fantastic, effective teaser!!!
one of my fav movies. awesome teaser trailer!
i see. im really amazed at the cinematography of these movies. back then, there were just a few or even no CGs at all. just pure human creativity and engineuity. I bet when these movies will be remade in our time now, a lot of CGs will be used.
I have just finished the book last night, it's a masterpiece. Now I'll try to check the movie also.
I love her! You can trust your wheels...
I expected the trailer to be better. I will give them credit for NOT giving away the plot/key scenes as is unfortunately common today. Good movie.
One gorgeous, badass car! 1958 Plymouth Fury 🖤
"Body by Plymouth, soul by satan" haha love it
Thanks for the recommendations UA-cam! God, I love that movie!
Watched it this morning on AMC.. Great ol' movie....
Buying a car soon, hoping to find one like this online! I love Stephen King
If they would make part 2 it would be badass cause at the end the radio still plays !!
I was just expecting the lights to come on, I was not expecting the car to just start tackling the camera.
Goddamn, that gave me such a jolt.
watched it this morning on AMC... Great ol' movie.
The book was one of King's finest. John Carpenter did a good directing the film, one of his best films. Nothing tops Halloween though.
Christine is not evil, she is merely love-starved . All Christine ever wanted was a lover she can Protect and Serve ! ... and vice versa
Great 80s Horror movie and love this Trailer
The last part when Christine switches her lights on and charges made me jump about 3 inches off my seat!
Just epic just epic
This movie is badass and very underrated.
thanx!
thanks, I never see the movie, but reading the book, is fantastic!!!!
Very much look forward to watching this and critiquing
Absolutely terrific as the movie!!!

Loved the book!
For all those in the NYC area, the movie will be playing at the IFC center tonight and tomorrow
I love that jump scare it was better than the shit they come out with today
A Classic !👍
The same way we have been filming scenes like that since the dawn of recorded cinema. In fact, we still employ these methods today.
LOL! I was expecting the lights to turn on.. was not expecting that!
This is the real teaser trailer that was released in theaters...I saw a shorter version of this on TV in '83.
I love Plymouth :D
chills...
Great movie!
Perfect
Wow, that's one shock-inducing trailer. They don't make movie trailers like this anymore.
YOU TOO!?!?
Yeah, I wish they made trailers like this more that don't use scenes from the movies. then at least we don't end up with the "let's spoil the movie" types of trailers.
Try the one for the Shining with the blood elevator.
