FPV Drone Flight Through Abandoned Dunnington Mansion 4K

- This has been a property I've been wanting to tour for some time but isn't too accessible for my wheelchair. So I contacted The Dunnington Mansion Foundation for permission to fly my DJI Avata inside. First time ever flying my drone inside and here is the result.

Wonderful video. I lived in this this house in the summer of 2001 before the golf course was slated to start construction. I would have loved to have seen it in all it's glory!

Great composition, sight to sound! Evokes a lot of different feels, having looked at such properties and imagining the lives lived in them, what they were to those residents (themselves imagined), and not what they are to my passing glance.

Last saw a group was attempting to save, I so hope they are doing good for this is once elegant mansion & deserves to be saved..
We are actively working to get ownership and start repairs. I'm one of the board members of that group!

Amazing drone flying. The mansion is HUGE. Looking like someone put part of new roof. Would take a lot of time and money. shame to let it get in this condition before someone tried to safe it.

There would have to be a very good reason to plow a ton of money and labour into restoring such a large home. Looks to be in the middle of nowhere. If not saved, is there Habitat for Humanity in the area that could come and salvage anything saleable in their ReUse stores before the mansion is torn down.
It's going to take some money for sure! This building is actually surrounded by a golf course outside of Farmville VA!
