- On a spectacular old royal route of Madeira through the cliffs near Arco de São Jorge. We tested the Rother hike (No. 26).
Madeira has many well-preserved old cobblestone paths, even in difficult terrain. The one from Arco de São Jorge leads high above the wild Atlantic waves through the wall of a steep coastal mountain. A short tour with great views of the north coast and a wonderful rest area right on the beach.

Moin, Klasse Video. Wir sind im Mai das erste Mal auf Madeira. Hast du noch weitere Touren auf Madeira aufgenommen. Kannst du den Rother für Madeira empfehlen?
Hallo und danke für das schöne Feedback 👍 Wir haben viele Wanderungen dort gemacht, die müssen allerdings erst noch bearbeitet werden - und das dauert leider lange. Aber es wird in den nächsten Monaten noch einige Videos aus Madeira geben.
Der Rother für Madeira ist gut und auch ziemlich aktuell. Interessant fand ich, dass im Rother von Madeira immer auch die "Schwindelgefahr" genannt wird, weil es doch einige ausgesetzte Stellen auf den Küsten- oder Levadatouren gibt.
