Okay, at 6:56 when she interrupts him at a crucial epiphany moment he's describing. Like, read the room and recognize a moment is happening girl. He jumped right back into his story like a pro though.
By far the best interview of the cast I've seen yet. Great questions and genuine responses/love for this movie. I thought it was really revealing how Austin Butler crosses his arms in front of him whenever people are talking and complimenting him. Such a modest young person and soooo talented. He worked hard to prep for this role and deserves all the accolades he is receiving.

What a great interviewer Jacqueline Coley is. This felt like a really organic and engaged conversation, and so fresh like she was just riffing. No doubt there was lots of research and interview prep went into it, but if so it was seamless. Great questions, look forward to seeing more from her.
but I'm surprised since she didn't find a way to correct the actress who said Elvis and Priscella met during WW2!!!! lol... I also wished she had asked why Priscella was the only woman in the movie.

These guys have done so many interviews all over the globe and they haven't even started the talk show circuit in the states to promote the movie. They are earning their money now.
Ditto, Great Interview. Movie, sometimes they get the combination just right, story, director, cast, and unlock the magic of movie making and the big screen. I am amazed that Austin has gone undiscovered for so long. Stunningly handsome, yet humble and painfully shy. Looking forward to big things from him.
What a wonderful and flowing interview. From the interviewer's questions to the answers given by Baz, Olivia, and of course Austin. I adored this movie, and was in awe of Austin's performance! Cannot stop listening to Elvis and of course Austin's singing

Austin Butler Amazing amazing actor I've never seen such a real and emotional delivery it felt like I was living that time of ours an acting spectacle Elvis Presley deserves this star that appeared in the cinema
I have seen this movie 6 times my 13 year old granddaughter loved it we went to Graceland 7yrs ago and u could feel Elvis spirit and that's what I felt when I seen the Elvis movie I felt Elvis was in Austin and smiling cause he thought he was 40 and his music was over and now he's more alive again for this new generation of kids Austin you were great
Austin Butler’s performance is beyond Oscar-worthy. It’s Oscar winning. No question. Oscar for Best Male Lead Actor. Top-gun Maverick could take Best Picture. I wish Baz would have told a bit more of Elvis’s love story with Priscilla. 75% was about his agent, too much agent relations and not enough about Elvis’ other relations in his life.
@@marijanewernsman6134 I also hoped they would show more of Austin’s performances, they kept editing out large junks of the songs so the agent could speak over top of the performance, just wrong.
You are right about that. I was far more interested in Elvis' life , relationships, his struggles, and less about that agent of his. He shouldn't have had that much emphasis, in my opinion.
Um one thing Olivia got wrong in this interview, they (Priscilla & Elvis) were not in the middle of WWII in Germany. Elvis was in the army from 1958-60, well after WWII. That being corrected, I can honestly say as an Elvis fan since age 3 in 1956, this movie was incredible. Austin was amazing as Elvis. I've seen every Elvis movie he himself made, every movie about Elvis starring other people and I've never, ever felt like this about any other movie about Elvis. If I could, I'd personally thank Baz & Austin for bringing Elvis back to life for a couple of hours. I've raved about this movie and Austin's portrayal to everyone I know. And, yes, I've seen it more than once. It was THAT good. To clarify what I fan of Elvis's I am, I sent flowers when he died & received a thank you card from the family to my surprise.
Amazing interview! The interviewer was great.... asked great questions and let everyone answer the questions. Loved that they all gave their perspective on the different scenes and the prep that went into it. I understand how people fell in love with Elvis. Movie was amazing and Austin Butler was phenomenal!
Interviewer was excellent I honestly would have preferred this interview with Baz and Austin lol Olivia was not needed she was annoying and kept interrupting everybody it's obvious she has nothing really interesting to say
When Jacqueline said choosing your favorite Elvis song is like choosing between your children - I always say that exact thing when asked what my favorite Elvis song is! If I HAD to choose, it would be In The Ghetto and what a lovely surprise that this was the final song played over the credits. Can't wait to see the movie again 💘
I don’t have a hard time picking. My favorite is if I can dream bcuz I sang it to a crowd in high school. My second is Hurt, then let it be me. Just pretend. And trouble is definitely up there! ❤
Great movie. Austin Butler did a fantastic job. Captured those moments in time. Captured his vulnerability and captured the sexiest side of Elvis. Beautifully done. Noone could have done it better!! Noone!
What an excellent interview. Great questions asked by the thoughtful and intelligent interviewer. The only issue is that someone needs to tell Olivia to stop interrupting and talking over Austin. She's so annoying. Loved the film! Tremendous performance by Austin and Baz does not disappoint!
Isn't anyone going to correct her? They didn't meet during WW2, maybe during the Korean War, but WW2 was long over when they would have met. Looking forward to seeing this film. Elvis is the KING!
You can tell this movie took along time, two years to produce. It's not like they all got together for 3 months and then wrapped, which is the way Kurt Russell's movie was made and Rhys- Myers too. This was a work of love for Baz and Austin. And took Austin a long time to nail Elvis character.
Yah and that’s why their portrayals were bad. I loved Rhys Meyers version but he lip sang and Elvis came off as a bit selfish I think. Austin really cared about his character and got deep into elvis’ soul. It was amazing!❤
Great interview, but I wish Olivia hadn't interrupted Austin so much, and let him finish his sentences. Also, does she not know that WWII was over well before Elvis and Priscilla ever met??!!
I love this movie! I was skeptical at first, but when I heard Priscilla's and Lisa marie's reactions, I eased my worried and concerns and enjoyed it. Oscar is buzzing all around this movie.
So Exciting! The wait is almost over. When I watch this, take a breath, and just take it all in. I think if Elvis himself saw this film he would say, "Dang! he's got me all shook up, I'm looking in a mirror". Thank You! So Much! Austin, Olivia, and Baz. You all have done a fabulous job for honoring Elvis and his family including his grandchildren and even great grandchildren someday. Best Wishes and continued success to all of you. God Bless You!
Really enjoyed the movie! Austin did a GREAT job. But could someone educate Olivia that WWII was over in September 1945. Elvis and Priscilla met in Germany in 1959, not in the middle of WWII.

I have always loved Elvis. And this movie was so touching and taught me how much he sacrificed for his family and for his fans. Austen played him so well. At times it was like watching the real Elvis. I had so many feelings watching this. And how he was apart of breaking seregation laws. He was such a big soul. Parker I though Tom Hanks played so good too. But I hated what he did to Elvis and his family. Elvis would of still been with us today. So I'm believe Parker was part of his dimise. But either way one of the best movies I've seen in so long I've actually watched it five times already. Fantastic work 👏👏Bless Elvis 🙏 Thank you for giving us the truth. And the whole cast was awesome. ❤️❤️
The Image is One Thing.. I don’t know what the right words are, When I watch what he entered into, his voice was magical but for the time he was in the popular culture said unbelievable comments and the same from other famous blues artists when I see Elvis saying he can’t criticize any other artists “There’s room for all of us” what a gifted person he was not just in his voice but compassion to touch so many it’s still being felt in 2022😎 There is only one King and he said that too. Thank you God for letting us all lose ourselves in the gift of music That’s made for EVERYONE!
Elvis made 31 films which is quite amazing but he has said that the one film he never saw was "Jailhouse Rock" and it's due to the tragic loss of his costar Judy Tyler who tragically died in a car accident after she finished filming the film. That death really affected him very deeply because he shared a close friendship with the actress.
this has to be one of if not the best movie interview i’ve ever seen. sis popped off! it wasn’t just an interview it was a mutualistic intellectual conversation ☕️☕️☕️
I grew up in the 60s and 70s, Elvis was a "little" before my time, but he had a resurgence of popularity in the early 1970s. Congratulations to Austin Butler's answer it was Elvis' charisma young girls were drawn to. I know Hollywood thinks it was the "sexiness" from a lustful point of view, but it really wasn't. You see thats where boys and girls are different. Boys are focused on lust in their teen years, but girls are focused on Romance. They adore young men who are their heroes, who love them only, and would sacrifice to save them. THOSE were the songs Elvis sang. From the heart. THAT is why the girls were "hysterical" ... he unlocked the key to their hearts.
I can’t get enough of this movie ❤ Austin Butler became Elvis in my opinion. I’ve been an Elvis fan pretty much since I was born. I’m now 23 and I had the amazing opportunity to celebrate my sweet sixteen at Graceland.
I enjoy Elvis's songs, but I never really knew anything about his life. This movie, Laz, Austin, everyone in this project helped humanize Elvis, seeing him as more than just an icon or celebrity. I love that Priscilla approves of this movie, and the fact that they did their research and even spoke with Elvis' family for the biopic. The time and effort they put in is undeniable. They deserve all the praise for the hard work. I really hope Austin wins an award for this role, and Laz was a genius in the style of the movie. The movie is 👌🏻. I haven't seen any other portrayals of Elvis, though I've wanted to. After this movie, I don't know if I care to see the others; I feel they won't compare.😝 I wish them all the best in their careers. Like others have said, thank you all for the hard work, humanizing Elvis, and bringing him to life for us who didn't have the privilege to attend any of his concerts. Great respect for them, and condolences to the family. This movie is special. R.I.P. Elvis Presley. You are most certainly not forgotten.💛
This movie was so awesome, it brought me back to the first time I saw Elvis on tv sitting on the floor in front of the tv a foot away from the screen.then I was a big fan. I loved him so much. Austin is a very talented and beautiful person just like Elvis. Great job Austin you are the best. Love you
An Austin, he responded brilliantly...he has a great vocabulary for such a young guy... maybe because he was home schooled and reads a lot and also a Broadway theatre actor...
Austin Butler was the Elvis Movie. He was fabulous at singing, talking and moving like Elvis. Perfection. The part of Parker played by Tom Hanks was not needed and would have made the movie a joke if it hadn’t been for Austin!! It was so ridiculous and silly and I so wish it had not happened and we could have seen more if Austin Butler!!!

Hands down best interview I’ve seen so far. She did a fantastic job.
She should have corrected the actress saying they met during WW2!
@@JeanetteFaith no she shouldn’t have. That would have been highly uncouth. The cast should have corrected her. It’s their film.
@@sarahgordino6695 Maybe so, but I wish someone would have corrected her! She now seems so ignorant! There are ways to correct people with a smile and a joke. It can be done.
What a brilliant interview. The interviewer was one of the best I’ve seen and she really brought out the excitement and fun in Baz and the actors. Loved it and I love Baz’s mind and vision
The actress wasn't that smart. She said Priscella and Elvis met in WW2. LOL.........
@@JeanetteFaith she's young!
@@joannemurdock7899 So, I knew when ww2 was in 2nd grade.
@@joannemurdock7899 She should have known better.
I don't think she prepared at all. I think she read Priscilla's book.
@@JeanetteFaith good point ww2 lol ! But actually his mummy was a strong character in the film for me so one more female ! :)
@@canne2024 LOL...Well, his 'mummy' was actually his true love in my opinion, so it's good she was in it. He wanted Priscella to be his little girl and mother, but it didn't work out so well. Both dyed their hair black like him. That wasn't a good relationship.
@@JeanetteFaith oh I’m sorry did you mean like all the Ann Margaret stuff ? Yes would have been good to see that I think he really fell for Ann Margaret which would have been interesting to see but I think the film didn’t ever want to portray any of Elvis’s more ethically questionably moments which is fair enough when he was basically a good person
@@canne2024 Yes. I do think he was in love with Ann Margaret, but felt he had to marry the young virgin because he felt obligated. Or Parker made him do it.
Austin literally got physically ill making this movie! Waking up at 3:00am was seriously taking a toll on his mind and body. He gave his all, he deserves the "Oscar" for this performance!
Austin Will get it….Method actor.
He'll definitely get an Oscar Austin is like definition of a Hollywood leading man the sky's the limit for him provided he's selective about the script he chooses and people he works with he's going right to the top I'm excited to watch his career he just has aura plus he's so classy and elegant and seems like a nice person
Best interview....Really good. Elvis, is such a phenomenal movie. Austin Butler was gave a stellar performance. This movie is raw, emotional, and honest. Loved every single part of it. Baz, you're a genius.
These guys have done so many interviews all over the globe and they haven't even started the talk show circuit in the states to promote the movie. They are earning their money now.
I hope they get on it. Their box office triumph kinda depends on it.
stop it at 13:41 you can see Austin telling Olivia to shut up.
Love how educated and respectful the interviewer is!!! Regarding the Elvis movie, watched it in 5 different theaters so far :)
Deleted scene of Austin singing "I Will Always Love You"???? I NEED to hear that!
This movie was incredible!!! I can't get enough of it and Austin was INCREDIBLE!!!! as Elvis and he deserves ALL the awards!!!!!
I haven't watched it yet but I want to watch it it looks so good!!!!!!!!!!!!
Who else noticed that Olivia DeJonge said that Elvis and Percilla met during World War 2 and no one corrected her?
They probably didn’t want to embarrass her lol
Baz I loved that scene too when Austin (Elvis) responded with hmmm The look on his face said it all.
For Priscilla and Lisa Marie to say Austin got Elvis to a T, is probably the best compliment he could ever get. An Oscar would be nice though too.😉
For them to co sign the movie is huge!!!!!!!! Them giving it their stamp of approval says it all
What a great interview! Great questions, and they all answered in depth and real feelings of how they did their roles. Loved the movie, Love AUSTIN!~ and Olivia De Jonghe, so good! Tom Hanks, was wonderful as he is is all of his movies! One of the better interviews I've seen. I just love the behind the scenes interviews and captures in the movies. Much fun watching them tell their story and to see them as regular people. How dedicated they were to this movie... Juse loved it!
The movie was told from Parker’s point of view. All about him, not Elvis.
@@marijanewernsman6134 Agreed!
@@shoelover6 Definitely, less agent, more Elvis please!
Thank you! Not WWll lol
I was here to say the same thing lol
@@kimlang2326 she's very young!
I picked up on that too. It was much later after WWII. And what a wonderful gesture from his family!
That jumped out at me too. Elvis would have been around eight or ten in WW2.
Interviewer knocked it out of the park!
This is gonna be one of those movies they bring back into the theaters! That's what it was made for! 🤩
Any talks about it bc I would love to see it in theaters instead of streaming
Austin Butler deserves the OSCAR!!!
Crying listening to this.. the heart and authenticity.
Enjoy your unbelievably well-deserved Oscar Austin. What a force of nature.
Truly, a great interview! The best Elvis interview I’ve seen.
Seen the movie four times…and counting 🤣✌️
When Jacqueline said choosing your favorite Elvis song is like choosing between your children - I always say that exact thing when asked what my favorite Elvis song is! If I HAD to choose, it would be In The Ghetto and what a lovely surprise that this was the final song played over the credits. Can't wait to see the movie again 💘
Oooo, that's a good one. For me it would have to be "If I Can Dream."
I HAVE 3 FAVOURITE SONGS BUT I AM KEEPING THEM ALL TO MYSELF.🥰
I don’t have a hard time picking. My favorite is if I can dream bcuz I sang it to a crowd in high school. My second is Hurt, then let it be me. Just pretend. And trouble is definitely up there! ❤

Great interview! Really thoughtful questions, and knowledge about the film and Elvis. I wish there was more!
Great movie. Austin Butler did a fantastic job. Captured those moments in time. Captured his vulnerability and captured the sexiest side of Elvis. Beautifully done. Noone could have done it better!! Noone!
This is an incredible interview. Wonderful job Jacqueline!
She was awesome!!!!!! I'd love to watch more interviews with her
Finally got to see the movie and it was truly EPIC! Austin completely melted into the role and embodies Elvis in such a profound way.
What an excellent interview. Great questions asked by the thoughtful and intelligent interviewer. The only issue is that someone needs to tell Olivia to stop interrupting and talking over Austin. She's so annoying. Loved the film! Tremendous performance by Austin and Baz does not disappoint!
Yes, she annoys me too! As an Aussie I’m even more so. Care Blanchett and Nicole Kidman are modest thoughtful listeners. Learn this Olivia!
Isn't anyone going to correct her? They didn't meet during WW2, maybe during the Korean War, but WW2 was long over when they would have met. Looking forward to seeing this film. Elvis is the KING!
IKR I was so annoyed!! How could she make this kind of basic mistake? does she not know anything about her own character's story?
Great interview, Jacquline Coley! I’ve watched a lot of interviews on this movie and I honestly think this is by far one of my favorites.
She is an amazing intervieweeeeeer !!!!
I knew NOTHING about Elvis...NOTHING!!! After watching this film, I'm OBSESSED!!! INCREDIBLE MOVIE OMG🔥🔥

Just for reference, World War II ended in 1945, Elvis was in Germany from 1958-1960, Olivia says "it was in the middle of WWII".
thank you!
Honestly I don't even know what she's there for. she just embarrassed herself
Can Austin be a music performer rather than an actor?! Need to see him sing live now.
I love this movie! I was skeptical at first, but when I heard Priscilla's and Lisa marie's reactions, I eased my worried and concerns and enjoyed it. Oscar is buzzing all around this movie.
Wanted to pay for another ticket as soon as I left the theatre absolutely phenomenal
Olivia DeJonge thinks Elvis and Priscilla met in Germany during World War 2. They met 13 YEARS AFTER THE END OF WORLD WAR 2. She’s an IDIOT.

Really enjoyed the movie! Austin did a GREAT job. But could someone educate Olivia that WWII was over in September 1945. Elvis and Priscilla met in Germany in 1959, not in the middle of WWII.
Oh my word I thought that too when she said that😭😭😭
I couldn't believe she said that.
Yes; I'm surprised Baz or Austin didn't correct her. Yeah, that didn't make her look good at all. How could she not have known that???

at 13:39 you see Olivia trying to talk to Austin, while baz is speaking. Austin brushes her off, and you can see he's pissed off. she looks so offended hahahha
Austin was telling her her shirt was slipping you can see her fix it afterwards
Let him talk… the interviewer was asking him not her. I would actually like to hear him finish his answer
Thank You BAZ & AUSTIN FOR TCB. CANT WAIT TO SEE ELVIS. LOVE HIM FOREVER. ELVIS RIP 🙏 🕊
I really love this interview. I can feel the excitement from all three of them. Plus the interviewer is great!
Apparently he watched it once with his mum and dad because they wanted to see it.
pretty sure it's 32 movies.

Oh, that’s cool. Although I think Jacqueline meant metaphorically.
Love you
The interviewer could sum it up with a clever statement, that brings this interview to a higher level
An Austin, he responded brilliantly...he has a great vocabulary for such a young guy... maybe because he was home schooled and reads a lot and also a Broadway theatre actor...

Austin will definitely win a Oscar he's him I think he's gonna be a huge star I see it for him
Austin Butler was the Elvis Movie.
This actress just said it was the middle of WWII. Not even sure how she could supposedly study so much for that role and be so stupid to think that. Wow.
Did she say it was the middle of WWII? Somebody needs to retake High School World History.
