How to Jump Your RC Car (Backflips/Front Flips/Bicycles)

- Today we decided to make a quick video on how we jump our RC cars/trucks. We got a few comments asking us how we backflip and thought it would be a great idea to show you.
In this video we demonstrate how we perform backflips, bicycles, and some tricks in the air. There are many ways you can perform stunts off a ramp, these are just some of the ways we do them. Depending on your setup (tires, size battery, 4WD or 2WD, and ramp size), will determine the type of tricks you can perform. We usually perform our jumps on grass simply because landing on concrete, dirt, or even a blacktop can be very harsh on your RC.

I’m buying the smc 9500 for my xrt ultimate. I’m debating between getting the 5800 smc for my sledge or getting the 5000 Traxxas batteries for the sledge. The Traxxas 5000 cost $69.96 and the 5800 cost $83.95. Not sure how much more usage the 800 gets me. What do you think?
Also, I can pick the Traxxas 1st gen connector. Does it come soldered already? Thank you!
I have the Traxxas iD ez peak live dual high output charger (26 amp/ 200 wats) and the Traxxas iD ez peak dual (100 wats)
I know I need the higher output charger for the 9500 batteries but can I use the 100 wat charger for the 5800 smc?
I’ve been using the Traxxas 5000mah, and I get good life out of them. Plus you can’t beat their warranty program. Why do you need 1st gen connectors?
@@redbanditracing SMC batteries offers their batteries with Traxxass first gen connectors. I was debating between the SMC 5800mah vs the traxxas 5000 mah. I do get good life out of my 5000mah. I didn't know they had good warranty. Thank you. You think I would get more run time with 5800 vs 5000?
Good video. FYI at 2:28 what you said was backwards. If car is falling to the right and you turn left while adding throttle… you will roll more right.
I’ve always had the opposite effect, TSM is also always on.
Yes but at 2:10 you say and demonstrate that when one turns the wheel to the left and add throttle, the car rolls right.
But then at 2:28 you said the remedy for a car rolling to the right was to turn left and add throttle. Which according to your demo at 2:10 would actually make the problem worse.
You clearly know what you’re doing, I just wanted to clear that contradiction up for any newbies watching who were confused.
