Big fan of your channel. I have been wondering if there are any techniques for when one's two weaving cords are coming in opposite directions towards one another?
I am a martial artist who specializes in the nunchaku. The optimal way to string nunchucks states that my only opportunity to braid the linking string itself, instead of adding an additional piece of cord over-top the linking string like I typically do my decorative knots, is at the moment when one end emerges from each handle, and before they cross over into the opposite handles to be laced up. There are some knots, like the Sanctified, which stiffen the hell out of my link when the link is used as a core - but would probably work very well if braided into the link itself.
Hopefully this doesn't get buried.

is there any tip or trick for burning the end of the cord with a normal lighter? most of the time it would melt parts around the end

Ronnie Phan I usually hold the cut off ends and the flame of the lighter parallel to each other and use the low blue part of the flame to melt them instead of the yellow part.
