TARNISH RESULTS: Mejuri, BaubleBar, and Kendra Scott After 1 Year

Does Mejuri tarnish, and how long does gold vermeil last? I look at my jewelry pieces 1-2 years later from Mejuri, BaubleBar, and Kendra Scott. We'll talk about gold-plated brass and gold vermeil pieces and report on whether or not they've formed rust (and how quickly if so).

Note: For my fashion jewelry, I make sure to take good care of each piece, stored either in a jewelry box or out in a display tray. I never get them wet or wear them on a hot day, and I also don’t wear any of these pieces everyday!

Hi, I actually work at Kendra Scott and the pendant with the initials is actually sterling silver with Vermeil 18k gold plating on top of the silver. So all you need to do to take the rust off of the jewelry piece is buy a silver polishing cloth and just polish it. Silver actually oxidizes In oxygen which gives it that Rusty appearance but a simple polish can clean it.

Hi, I just got a Kendra Scott necklace today and I was wondering if the polish would work the same for an Elisa pendant? It’s the color Berry in gold, and I love it so much but i’m really scared of it tarnishing
