    I grew up hunting down there. Dad started hunting down there in the 1960's and left in 2019. I had 36 years in when I had to leave that same year. Paid $200 a year when I started and $2200 a year when I left. Got lots of memories from the years and adventures had exploring the swamps on the Mississippi River. The evolution of hunting and it's eventual commercialization changed a lot of people's way of life. That kind of hunting is now a rich man's sport. I hate it, but it is what it is. It was starting to get covered up with hogs the last few years. Had fun with them.

      100%truth ...very disheartening but this is what it has become.. I contend and don't be surprised if that at some point in the near future that even a Sultan of somewhat an so n so comes in and buys up a big chunk..that would depend on the seller and how tempting an offer.. Let's pray that never happens..Best of luck to everyone!

    Anybody else get curious and look up the prices for that place? 😂😅

    • @michaelcope2329
      @michaelcope2329 Рік тому

      You can got to Texas for half that price and thats free range so no high fence or can hunting. You'll see way more deer and you can kill a buck like their shooting for $3,500.00, that also includes 2 does.
      The stuff on the MS river has gotten ridicules, Giles Island, Davis Island, Millionaires Club (they call it that for a reason), Glasscock Island, Tara, all of its stupid. What's more infuriating is places like the Old Blackhawk that was owned by a couple of trial attorneys. Want your stomach to turn dig into that place and how those good ole boys seeking justice bamboozled the American tax payer, that is you and I to pay the tab to buy and set up most of their hunting property. Don't' kid yourself, these good ole boys on here do some of the same stuff as does Toxic Haas and his ilk up in Moss Point. All of these people are very wealthy with most of them having what most of us consider or call F U money, if they didn't they couldn't spend all their time at these kinds of places hunting and fishing their lives away. None of what they do is a low class or even middle class pursuit are activity, these guys are at the biggest high dollar places on the River and in the South. Don''t let the pickup trucks and accents fool you, these people are wealthy some of them very wealthy, again if they were not, they simply could not live like this.

      Nope. I know it will be wwwaaaayyy more than I’d be willing to pay to shoot a deer.

      @@michaelcope2329your envy and hatred is evil. Men who did well for themselves and enjoy life, aren't.

      I live in Missouri and there's no shortage of deer and my home state produces B/NC candidates every year, and it's only getting better. Missouri also has thousands of acres for public use. No need to pay for a personal lease, just hunt smart and do your scouting.

    What is Brad shooting?? At the beginning of the video brad has what I assume is a savage but it looks like somthing custom, it looks like an axis receiver, it’s not the same receiver as lake has. Brad’s has a fluted barrel and possibly upgraded bolt knob and stock. Lakes rifle looks like a bone stock 10/110 savage
